Theaters nice and in a good location. However the concession stand line managment needs work. There's always a massive line and it seems because the place to buy tickets is the same for drinks. These need to be split seperatly so people who got kiosk tickets but want to buy extra snacks don't need to wait 35 or more minutes because people need to buy tickets also. Just split the line and have 1 register for each and on busy days 2 registers for tickets and 1 for food ordering. This is the only theater chain that does this for some strange reason. The 4dx here is the best I've experienced and whole I like the seating and it's adorable the IMAX here is way too small. It's literally one of the smallest IMAX screens on planet earth and only uses a 2k laser XT system . Fortunately however to does seem to have gotten the 12 channel sound system which sounds great and because the screens so small (by imax standards) the XT looks a bit better and brighter then normal since it's squeezed on a much...
Read moreI haven't gone see a flix at a theater since the pandemic started two years ago. Went last week for the new Bateman at this 4DX theater. The seating was comfortable, the soundtracks were great and whatever a movie house should have were there... Yes, I later realized that I could turn off water on the arm of my seat, but water was still coming down on me from elsewhere. I could understand the effect of surround soundtrack, sensation from explosion, the smell of a forest etc, but constant kicking and shaking of my seat and spraying water on my face, No. I'll stay with IMax, 4DX...
Read more4DX Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man tells No Tales. I made it through the wave and the cold breeze. I apparently was not a dead man and here matey, let me tell you a tale. If you are on dry land in "Kaohsiung" you should definitely go and try out 4DX at this place. One, the price compare to the US theater would definitely make you feel like you just pirated the experience, arhhh. And for my particular experience of Pirates 5 it felt like a 2 hour Disney pirate ride. So bottom line try it, if you like movies.
Or if you are rich you can experience it in Downtown Los Angeles for 2x as much. But you would not be a pirate.
Btw Pirates 5 was poor movie but the experience of 4dx top my other two experinces, Star Wars: TFA...
