A bird photography paradise from mid Feb as it has Sakura that attracts a lot of birds especially the delightful Chestnut-tailed Starlings, it's quite a small area set on two levels, the top park area and a lower level that runs along the side of a stream. It's very busy with Instagram and instagran selfies in overload when the Sakura is out 🤣 Attracts an interesting cross section of people from photographers to full on Cosplay and everyone in between. A selection of typically cheesy decorations (flower tunnel, love sign etc.) are available if that's your thing. A long lens (min 400mm) is required from the lower path 200mm and above are OK from the top. Except to fight for a decent photography position...

Hidden spot for Cherry blossoms in Neihu! It is a small park with short path around the riverside. You can enjoy the whole row of Cherry Blossoms trees and it’s even better at night time since the light will be on. Expected crowd during weekend and on weekdays evening it will also full of people.

I really enjoy the vibe and walk. If you are into Sakura and you appreciate they only bloom once a year, here is the place to come.

Not far from MRT Dong Hu station. 10-15 minutes walk it will be more convenient to take a bus or with a motorbike.
