We went for the first time with our 3 kids 3 or younger. A lot of rides they still can’t go on but enough to keep them entertained. Parking was a bit farther from entrance as they only have one exit open now during the pandemic so I suggest driving in more towards the right before parking. Otherwise you’ll walk for a bit longer. Entrance fee is pretty cheap but I also heard on Wednesdays it’s free with evidence of Taipei residency (eg. ARC or ID). Rides are pay per ride, which is nice if you can’t stay a whole day to maximize the ticket price (which is cheap already). Our kids nap in the afternoon so we can only come in the mornings anyway. No food available for sale or allowed to eat during this pandemic time but we found a restaurant about 7 min walk that was good. Robocar Poli themed Ferris wheel not open Monday morning when we went so we’ll definitely come back for our kids to go on that. They have a nice AC breastfeeding area with 3 rooms at the visitor center. The monorail was fun for the kids too but one end the window isn’t too clear, so I suggest going to the far end in the direction the monorail moves to get a better view. Nice fan or air system in the monorail car so it’s not too hot. I think the parking here is 40 ntd / hour which is a little more than the science center’s parking next door (30 / hour). Would definitely come again, maybe once a month at least.

Super convenient and affordable amusement park just for kids. Right near the Taipei Children's Amusement Park MRT station. Easy to get to. Age Range Sweet Spot: Best for kids around 3-10 years old. If your kids are teenagers, they might find it a bit basic. The rides are not going to be thrilling enough for older kids. Pricing: Incredibly affordable. Entrance fee is minimal, and most rides are either free or very cheap. We're talking about 30-60 NTD per ride. Compare that to theme parks back home, and it's a bargain. There's also an option to pay 200NTD for a day pass. Ride Highlights: - Ferris wheel with city views (nice for parents too) - Various kid-friendly carnival rides - Some gentle roller coasters - Spinning and kid attractions - Weekdays are less crowded - Bring water and snacks (food is available on 2nd and 3rd floor) - Comfortable walking shoes are a must - Expect to spend about 3-4 hours here Pros: - Clean and well-maintained - Lots of green spaces for kids to run around Cons: - Can get crowded on weekends - Limited options for very young toddlers or older teens Overall Verdict: Solid option for a half-day family activity. Not world-class, but definitely a good way to burn some kid energy and have a few laughs. Would recommend for families with younger kids visiting Taipei. 👍

It was fun to ride roller coasters and other carnival rides at the Taipei Children's Amusement Park. It was quite easy to buy the full day tickets with unlimited rides on the 13 designated rides which we did online using a third party company, saving just a few NTs but quite convenient. My kids and I had a very fun time, it was a good time of being like a kid for me again. All the rides are kids friendly and the staff are professional and pay a great deal of attention on the safety of each rider. The day was very hot, but the AC was good enough in the food court areas to allow those who need a break to cool off. The food court restaurants were all pretty reasonably priced given the location, and the seating areas were enough given how many people were there even on a weekday. It was so helpful to have a 7-11 inside too bc the prices were the same as a regular 7-11, so we could just buy some snack items and not have to get full meals if we didn't want to spend a lot of money or time eating. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean considering how many people were using them all day long which goes to show the cleaning staff are going a great job. Overall, this is an excellent place for parents to bring their young kids for a fun day.

Took a 2 years old and a 5 years old. They enjoyed it quite a bit, but as an adult it’s a quite lacklusting. I understand this is meant for kids but this review will be read by adults and so they would know we to expect. Remember this is coming from a perspective of a tourist who has been to a much more developed amusement parks. You can pay for the pass or pay as you go on the attractions. Cons: - It look and feel a bit run down - The line is slow because of the dual payments system - The pass doesn’t work on all attractions. About half the attractions were not eligible with the pass - Not all rides were opened - The rides are more like carnival rides by American standards Pros: - Affordable - Easy to get to and not too far - Good for the younger kids - Staffs are nice and helpful - Admission are only $1 for adults - Good if you have kids with time to kill All in all my five years old still enjoy it alot and that’s all that really matters. Just don’t expect too much and you will enjoy it more. I thought my kids were spoiled by Disneyland and Universal Studios, but apparently she still wants to stay here even longer than we wanted.

Taipei Amusement Park One of favorite place for families in Taiwan. Tickets purchased can use easy card or cash via locket. During the promo period, 50Ntd can play all games. However, every game has a high limitation. For height below 100cm can only ride 1-3 (feeris wheel, train, carousel), under 120 cm can ride 1-7, under 130 cm can ride numbers 1-8, below 140 cm can ride 1-12, above 140 cm can all vehicle. You can buy tickets per ride , for example, only want to ride 3, then it can be considered. Inside this amusement park, there are large places to rest and eat (there are 7-11 and several restaurants). In addition, for Muslims there is a mushalla and halal food restaurants (Mr. tantuni) In addition, there are performances from street performance. Sand-play and water splash facility are also available, but when we are visiting, they are still under construction. We recommend bringing a stroller for those who have small kids. If you don't want to be too crowded, you can come on weekday. On lentern festival 2022, it opens until 22:00. #taiwanplayground #taiwan #taipei #taiwanwithkids

The park charges both the admission fee and rides. You can use the "Ezycard" to pay for each individual ride (NT$20-NT$80) or you can buy a bundle tickets which includes the admission to the Show. Note: the bundle tickets only valid for 13 main rides. The Rides: During busy days, you can reserve your place in advance using the app. The ballpit area is free but highly recommend that you reserve the spot via the app in advance. Some interesting rides such as "Riding the robot" and "Driving the boat" are not included in the bundle tickets and must be paid by Ezycard. The Show: The show cost NT$100 but is included in the bundle ticket. The show is in Chinese but easy enough to get an idea. Catering for kids up to 10. The Food: Unlike some other parks, this park has a 7-11 inside that charge the same price as any other 7-11. There is also a Burger King and a themed restaurant. Overall: We arrived during weekday and it's very quiet. No queue but some rides (Ferris Wheel and Teacup) were closed. Half day is enough to cover most of the rides.
