I rank this in #1 of my favourite Taipei Metro stations! It's not just an ordinary interchange MRT station with the Blue & Brown Lines, this station also receives one of the highest demands out of the entire Taipei Metro, especially during festive seasons when flocks of people can be seen changing between both lines, especially to the Blue Line, on New Year's Eve, while the officers are doing their job really well to make the lines and manage the crowd control! You can also see the crowd levels for each particular door by looking at the colour at the top of the platform, for the blue line itself! [Red for extremely full, orange, yellow, green for empty]

There's also a metro themed shop located in this station, where they sell Taipei Metro merchandize! They have stickers, notebooks, pens, luggage tags, etc, based on the Taipei Metro! They also sell mini figure trains, as well as a metro game as well! Train enthusiasts, this shop is definitely for you! Prices are really reasonable too! There's also a stamp here where you can get for free, so do bring a small notebook if you want the stamp! The man managing the shop is really friendly too! He also was willing to give us a free item after we purchased. Even when the card reader broke down and we told him it's alright, and we didn't need the free item, he went on to fix the system and give us it! Kudos to the man here for the...

The staff is super nice. Came here only to get the hello kitty metro stamp (not to ride the train) so the staff gave me a one time metro pass to I can enter the station. Many of the stations are connected via an underground path filled with shops it’s a good way to spend the afternoon when the weather outside is not the best. Note in Taiwan they take the no eating/drinking on the subway and in the station very seriously. I took a sip of my drink and immediately was told there is no drinking in the station. This is a bit confusing because you can buy drinks/food inside the underground that connects to the station. You can eat/drink in most areas but once you enter the station there is not...

I really like the Zhongxiao Fuxing Station and shopping mall because they are very convenient and fun. Zhongxiao Fuxing Station is a transportation hub that connects different MRT lines and bus routes. The mall has a wide variety of shops and restaurants to suit different needs and tastes. I often shop here, eat, watch movies, or just enjoy the lively atmosphere. This is one of my favorite places. Its bit of walk between shopping and station and it can be super crowded but everything important is nearby like ABV and other...

This used to be the second busiest metro station. Now it’s like maybe top quarter-ish. The hey day for the district is really gone. Still a good window shopping walk though. Lots of food options at the back alley. The original plan was to connect the old city to Xinyi District, so you have a continuous commercial corridor. Apparently the missing links that separates the belt into three chunks are just way too great to make up for. This is the middle chunk, and it’s dying.
