雖然貴為全國賽御用比賽地點之一，也經過整修，但是仍有不足處： （1）場地狹小，對於以「舉辦全國賽事」為前提下，場地卻小到不行，場地的平滑度無法比擬高雄或屏東的一級賽道區，就算整修過，也毫無改善。 （2）同上述前提，此場地無法對比容納同等的觀賽人員或陪賽人數，不僅遮陽處極少，對於參賽選手、陪賽人員、觀賽人員也沒有任何的友善配置座位或休憩區。 （3）周邊鄰近中壢夜市，停車不便且停車費收費昂貴。

優點： （1）周邊餐飲店家可供選擇多。...

靠近夜市基本上缺點遠大於優點…. 雖然最近整修，溜冰場周圍的設施還是一樣的髒亂，希望市政府花一點錢整理並重新規劃看台&司令台。

辦比賽的時候司令台前的走道真的太窄，小小運動員們光要穿過走進檢錄帳篷就要突破重重難關。（第一次看比賽，主辦方還要維持觀眾秩序，甚至跟選手家長們對嗆。其實大家都能體諒重點就是這個場地真的太差，對選手、對觀眾來說都是。）
