I wonder if in few years there will be any fireflies left in the park. When the Taipei Government gave the permit to build the new residential complex who was in charge to give the approval of the Environmental Impact Assessment? Or doesn't such a thing exist in Taiwan to get the permit to realize a project of that scale?

文山區的大安森林公園！ 連日的陰霾與綿霧的雨後，徒步走到木柵公園，許是晏起貪睡吧！ 緩步而行，深深的調息，將冷冽的晨息呼著、吸著，彷彿身心靈由內而外被深深淨化。 木柵公園佔地算大，設施豐富：有環山步道、涼亭、兒童遊戲場、泳池及萃湖，還有許多綠植、植栽，有著都市人所嚮往的森林芬多精，緩和了急促的生活步調。林中生態豐富、白天蟲鳥的鳴叫劃破了寧靜的天空、夜晚有螢火蟲的點點星火照亮寂靜的夜幕。在這偌大的臺北市裡，很難得有這樣交通便利又鬧中取靜的清幽環境，景緻如宜，值得細細品味。 園子裡到處是濕濡的青綠，枝幹卻是黝黑的，嫩黃的桂花處處留香、青草地上的枯黃落葉，隨興落了一地，這樣的搭配也挺靜美。一步一腳印 慢悠悠地走著、聽著、看著，有一剎那只想把煩惱都拋到九霄雲外去。任何時間來，都能看盡四季給我們的驚喜。

Surprisingly nice park! It seems only locals know about it.

Built on a hill, there is equipment to do exercise, the local (outside) swimming-pool (which is very clean and cheap!), and nice pathways.

Good place to let your kids run around before going to sleep, with the different stairs and differences of heights between places in the park, they'll be tired fast enough for a...

Visited to view firefly -- in season during visit in April 2017. Good to know the local university is making effort to make firefly return. Hope the firefly population grows...
