KAMALA GYM (Gym, Sauna, Ice Bath, Swimming Pool, Classes) — Attraction in Kamala

Loved it here.

Right opposite the nursery my kid went to, so my routine was often, drop off, hit the weights, punch the bag, sauna & ice bath.

You cannot go wrong!

Super relaxed, open air gym. Don’t expect over complicated equipment. This is a place to keep it simple. Squats, deadlifts, pull ups, bench, loads of dumbbells and kettlebells.

Loved the punch bag. Allowed me to hit the cardio I love after every weights session.

Best of all the place is very affordable, and the staff friendly and kind.

Perfect set up for me and many others.

The pool and chill area after workouts is super nice too and a bonus feature.

My three suggestions for ownership would be:

Spruce up to the swinging chairs outside which are super comfy, but getting a bit knackered (possibly in the works already after low season)

Hooks added to the walls in the showers / changing rooms to hang a towel.

Lastly I think something like a Myomaster chill and filter would be a good investment for the ice bath. As much as getting ice in the tub from the freezer burns a few more calories after working out, I think this would be a nicer experience and help keep the water cooler & fresher, and still be an affordable but premium upgrade.

Was a client for a few year until the gym closed. It’s been a few months since they reopened and have gone through a few different owners. I finally went back to rejoin a couple days ago. The trainer there Ty, a great guy, answered all my questions and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Was excited to use the gym and take his classes. The class that was in session when I came to look around seemed perfect and all those in the classes were excited and seemed to enjoy it. I came back 3 days later to join the gym only to find out that those classes were cancelled and no longer being offered. And that some of the perks, like the sauna, wasn’t working. All which were included in the membership price. Now that those are gone, the price is still the same. Getting much less for same price. Doesn’t make sense. Needless to say, I dodged a bullet and spent my money at another local gym. Approach...

Honestly? The best gyms I have ever been in my life. I was in multiple gyms in Europe and also few gyms in Phuket but never felt anywhere near as good I feel when I’m here. The gym is not big but what really matters for me is the vibe. You can just feel the testosterone when you’re here. Also they have the best sauna and a cold plunge included in the membership price when I really appreciate. Huge W for the people who work here. I met a really nice guy I believe from America and Jack - very helpful and kind guy who always walks with a smile on his face and helps whether you need it HE DESERVES A RAISE GUYS.

What I would really like to see here is a leg extension machine, it would be really helpful. But without it you can still make a...
