The actual setting of this cafe is lovely, it's air-conditioned, plenty of room to sit with your laptop if needed, and the food was good. However, me and my partner stayed at CityGate for two weeks and in that time, we both ended up with a sickness bug from the drinks we ordered from here, I had a smoothie and my partner had a cappuccino, of which we ordered on separate occasions, so it was really disappointing to have to spend half our time in Phuket stuck in our room unwell.
