We visited here a few weeks ago and honestly one of the worst greek restaurants we have ever been to. Unfortunately, my husband contracted food poisoning from the Pork Souvlaki (which tasted off). This lasted 48 hours and ruined part of our honeymoon. The one star is generous, as the food was mediocre. This is the only place in Thailand where we received service without a smile and felt like we were an inconvenience to the owners just being there. The atmosphere was nonexistent with the owner sitting on his computer the entire night, barely acknowledging us as paying customers. As the restaurant trade is within our family bloodline back in London, we know good service from bad service when we see it. To put it plainly, steer away from this place if you want authentic Greek food. Myself, my mother in law and mother can cook much better than these frauds. (We use olive oil and plenty of lemon in our salads and dips - tip for the owner).
It's a shame to write such negative thoughts, so I'll end on a positive: The lemon potatoes and Kormo were passable and the only thing I'd recommend off this menu.
Response to the owner- From looking at your other responses to reviews, it appears your arrogance has reared it's head again. Clearly, alot of others have written similar reviews, so we can't all be wrong. The Tzatziki was given to us with no pitta or other form of bread to be eaten with. The salad lacked oregano and flavour. The pork was unmarinated and tasted off. (Hence my husband contracting food posioning as a result). As a restaurant owner of 30+ years, surely you must know that a warm hospitality is needed for returning customers. You could have come over to ask us at the end of our meal if everything was OK and how we enjoyed the food. That is a nice touch from previous restaurants I've been to around the world, including Greece and Cyprus (top...
Read moreWhat a wonderful spot! The owners (I assume they were the owners) were extremely friendly and kind. The food was absolutely excellent. We found this place via google and I’m glad we did. We weren’t planning on having Greek food but after eating Thai food for a while it was much appreciated to have something different. We love Greek food back from the US and this was delicious. We had the large Greek salad with loads of feta cheese, the various dips and bread and the saganaki. We also had the stuffed peppers and very tasty potatoes that accompanied it. Thank you for an incredible meal. We might have to visit for a second time it...
