Thailand is one of the vacation destinations for people from all over the world. With its biodiversity, the topography of each sector in Thailand is different. Make Thailand a tourist city that is not boring. ➡️The north will be full of mountains, forests and water for those who like hiking and the culture of the people in the mountains. ➡️The central region will be an area of agricultural fields and fruit and vegetable gardens. Green fields and a variety of orchards. And it is the area of the Kingdom of Thailand. ➡️ Northeast region. It is a high area. Hide the beauty of nature. Rivers, mountains, trees. And the beautiful local culture. ➡️The eastern region is home to forests, mountains and long beautiful seas. It is the location of important beach cities such as Phthaya, a large tourist city of Thailand. Also, the eastern region is an important fruit source of Thailand. ➡️ Most of the southern region is a city surrounded by the sea on both sides. There are many islands and beautiful sandy beaches. 🏝 Koh Samui, Surat Thani Province, my vacation destination in 2024. Another place you must visit if you come to Koh Samui. That is Hin Taayi, an important tourist spot that should not be missed. You can contact the travel information directly at the counter of the hotel where you are staying. Or ask the company to sell tours in general. There is also a two-lane public service. If you are not skilled, the path may be difficult, I recommend. Buying a tour at the hotel counter is more convenient than traveling by yourself. Because the path is quite narrow. And one thing I would like to request is that you travel during weekdays when there are not many people. You can fully appreciate the place. This place also sells a lot of products and food. At an...
Read moreHin Ta Hin Yai: Koh Samui's Unique Rock Formation If you're looking for a quirky and picturesque spot on Koh Samui, head to the Hin Ta Hin Yai rock formation on the island's southeastern coast. These unusual rock formations, locally known as the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks, have become a popular tourist attraction. The rocks are easily accessible, located just a 30-minute motorbike ride from Chaweng Beach. Spend a few hours exploring the small shops, grabbing a bite at one of the restaurants, or relaxing at the adjacent Samui Rock Bar, which offers stunning sunset views. The rock bar is a great spot to unwind in the evening, with reggae music, occasional fire shows, and a small beach to the left. The rocks themselves are quite unique, with one formation resembling male genitalia and the other female. While the rocks may be a bit risqué, they offer a fun and memorable experience on your Koh Samui adventure. Read moreHin Ta & Hin Yai (Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks) is one of Koh Samui’s most well-known attractions, and it’s easy to see why. The rock formations are unique and come with a fun local legend that adds a bit of charm to the visit. The location is right by the sea, so you also get a lovely view of the coastline and waves crashing against the rocks, which makes for some really nice photos.
That being said, it is definitely a tourist hotspot. When I visited, it was quite busy with people crowding around for pictures, so don’t expect a quiet or secluded experience. Parking for cars costs 30 baht, which is fair, but the space is limited and fills quickly — I’d recommend coming by motorbike if you can. Once you’re inside, there are plenty of little shops and stalls selling souvenirs, drinks, and snacks, which makes it convenient if you want to grab something on the go.
Overall, it’s not a place I’d spend a long time at, but it’s worth stopping by if you’re already in the Lamai area. The rocks are quirky, the sea view is beautiful, and it’s a fun photo opportunity that gives you a small taste of Samui’s...
