This was one of our favorite spots to have breakfast and dinner during our stay at Lamai. It’s run by ladies who prepare the food with joy, love and passion. The atmosphere is like a family and I personally felt like as if my aunties were cooking for a family gathering. So nice and cosy. Service is from the heart, with a smile and with love. The food is excellent and for a fair price. Good food does not have to be “instagram” worthy all the time, here you get authentic food, prepared with a smile and passion. The salads are generous in portion size, also the different curries are mouth-watering. You can indicate how you would like to have your dish like spicy, with or without certain ingredients. Only downside could be the sometimes noisy road next, but trust me after you start eating it’s not a problem at all. I will surely miss them and wished I could give them...

We were staying at Rocky's and saw that Koh was rated really highly so walked down in the evening, what a great call it was! The restaurant was full when we got there so a server put 2 chairs out on the pavement and got us some beers while we waited, nice touch! Service was warm and friendly and the food was superb, big portion sizes and the food was so fresh and tasty, the beef jungle curry and chicken penang were banging and some of the best curries we had in our 2 week Thailand holiday in various places. All the food was reasonably priced and the service was great throughout with a lively vibe in the restaurant, really recommend it and wish we'd found it before our last...
