Haad Rin — Attraction in Surat Thani Province

Quite a vivacious mess - the monthly spectacle at this beach that is the wild full moon party. One can truly experience the beauty in the chaos at this high youthful, party energy destination. What I like about the area are the presence of large crates / containers for binning bottles and common garbage to minimise scattering of disposed items along the beach - despite garbage along the beach being absolutely hard to contain. Having said, best to be aware of possible broken shards and bottles (amongst other objects) amongst the sands - other than enduring some occasional bumps from drunk people struggling to walk normally from their over enjoyment. Companion who also visits here often confirms the beach is hastily and effectively cleaned up after the parties.

I recently visited Haad Rin beach, and I have to say that the full moon party in July was an absolute blast! There were tons of people from all over the world, and the party atmosphere was electric. The shows were amazing, and the DJs kept the party going all night long. If you're a young person looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in Thailand, the full moon party is definitely something you should check out.

Although I didn't get to see much of the beach during the daytime, it looked absolutely beautiful. The crystal-clear waters and soft white sand were very inviting, and I can imagine that it would be a great spot to relax and soak up some sun during the day.

Haad rin beach at koh phangan is the venue for world famous full moon party. On the day of full moon party, the beach is cleaned for any broken bottles or things like that. The beach stretch is just 1 and half to 2 km. Though staying here other than full moon party days will be a bad idea bcos the stay here will be expensive, if you are budget traveller.
