A smaller beach that took some hill crossing and trekking to get too. Shoulder to shoulder resorts (some being refurbed at the moment) makes this beach perhaps more exclusive than the other beaches around Koh Phangan. But. Jelly fish season from May to October perhaps makes this beach a bit riskier. Also with the jellyfish warning signs posted I paused for caution before wading into the shallows. One particular part of the beach looked a bit poorly maintained and of this was a resort meant to look like an abandoned shanty town or an actual shanty town for people.living in doldrums I am not to sure.. but it could add an undesired element to the beach depending on your tollerance or social responsibility.
