I was there 2 weeks ago during the weekday, they were open to the public. Most of the goods they sell are demo stock, excess, out of production or slightly defective. So be aware what you're selecting to purchase. The staff there are very helpful and mostly friendly.
Because of the condition of the I goods on sale, their pricing seems very reasonable as compared to similarly available items in the shops.
I very good example is the in-ear Bluetooth headphones I'd purchased for 600 Baht, the very same model was selling in a department store for over 2000 Baht.
Fortunately the salesman that assisted me did advise me of which articles were new but overstocked items, demo or defective.

The actual night market is Centre Point market by the Dugong statue. When you see the Dugong statue you will see the lights and hear the sound of the market. That is assuming you get there before 9.
