I can only assume that visitors to Trang are desperate to find something good to say about it. The rave reviews about this market in guide books and on the internet are a massive leap from what I've experienced. A poor to average market at best in an awful depressing town that stinks of sewage, has a massive cat problem and, for the first time in my travelling experience, aggressive stray dogs. If you do find yourself in Trang, by all means visit this market but don't come to Trang unless...
