We went there for the July 1st, 2021 Canada day fire work. The firework was amazing and beautiful. There were not that many people, it was not crowded at all. We throughly enjoyed the fire work. Compare to the regular downtown one, it was definitely less crowded, enough space to park. If they do it here the next year, I would be definitely coming back. This was my first time at this park and it looked amazing at night. I would love to come back at day time to enjoy the view.

Large off leash dog park with beautiful city views. You can see Deerfoot Trail, Memorial Drive and downtown skyline. Nice and open with paved and unpacked pathways and benches for you to rest and take in the views. This park is walkable to Bridgeland, Calgary Zoo, Telus Science Centre and downtown Calgary. Great in any season with lots of friendly people and their dogs. Small free parking lot.

It's just a small neighborhood park, nothing special. People use it for an off-leash dog park or drink coffee enijoying beautiful city views. The park isn't very accessible by transit. As you get close to downtown, you're required to have a parking permit for your car. The park does have limited parking that doesn't require a permit. 360 photo for 2015 March 24.

Amazing vast expanse of dog park so close to the inner city. Come at 9 am or 3:30pm any day to catch the regulars and the busier time here to give your doggo a real good run for your time. Park also has a great view of downtown through a loop that walks around the plateau. The park isn’t fully fenced but the ridge of the hill seems to form a sort of barrier.

It’s a really nice area and provides great views of the Calgary skyline downtown. There are a lot of benches to relax and there’s a lot of street parking around. It is an off leash dog park and not all people watch their dogs so for some people, like me, it’s not as relaxing but if people watch their dogs then it’s a nice park!

I wish there was water still. It was originally plumbed, I can see the cut off pipes. Would be a perfect 5 if it had a pond for dogs to play in. I get it...public park...cost... maintenance... But it was historically zoned for livestock. Maybe a water fountain. But something for animals and people to acquire water.
