We have some really great memories of checking out the buffet then spending the day at the zoo. We haven't gone since before COVID but quickly realized the service and quality has unfortunately decreased. On my first pass through I was happy to see that they just put out full new trays of bacon and eggs benedict. I grabbed some of each along with potatoes, sausage and banana bread french toast. The eggs benedict was barely warm and the egg overcooked. The potatoes were cold and the bacon was not crispy at all. Although my sister had bacon from the old tray and those were crispy. My 9-year-old pointed out that the potatoes were missing something (tasted like no spice was added). The banana bread french toast was alright. The waffle I grabbed along with my kids were soggy but no complaints from the kids as they got to add whip cream and other toppings. By the time I headed for dessert, the macarons were gone (at 11:30 for our 11:00am second seating) and I was told that they had no more. The chocolate fountain is always fun and they had a few choices of things to dip into it (rice krispies, fruit, marshmallows). I had to hunt people down to get a coffee and refill, then for some cream for it. Once I got the attention of someone, they did come quite quickly. One thing I really like is that they support local producers although it would be nice if they sourced local coffee (they served Starbucks). For almost $100 for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids), we'll grab brunch before heading to the zoo next time.

The Sunday Brunch was fantastic, delicious, and a great value, considering it only costs an additional $17 on the ticket price to the zoo. Lots of food, custom salad bar, fresh fruit with a chocolate fountain, custom omlette bar, and roast sliced in front of you as needed. Staff refill your coffee and tea very frequently, and you can get juice or water at your leisure. You can also order mimosas for a small charge. Overall, if you are going to the zoo, I highly recommend spending a little bit extra to get this fantastic meal and service.

Sunday Brunch. First impression was good. Lots of food stations and choices. As we went up we learned that most stations were breakfast. Nor many choices for lunch. It was eggs 3 ways, bacon and sausage, waffles and pastry. Only true lunch option was a soup, salad and meat/ cheese tray. The food overall was ok. Staff for the most part seemed rushed. The original reservation asked if it was a special occasion. Nit sure why this was asked because there was no acknowledgement of the occasion. Overall the brunch was fair.

First time for me and my toddler and we loved it. We wanted to get into the 11 am spot but couldn’t and ended up doing the 1 pm one and it worked out so well for us. We covered the dinosaurs and Canadian wildlife first and finished Safari lodge brunch/lunch for more energy ha ha and then covered the remaining three sections on the other side of the river which worked out very well for getting a break with lots of lots of walking and keeping us energized with great food. :) The staff were so friendly and accommodating and we loved the omelette station and the chocolate fountain very much. Great selection of food. Will be...

This is a bit of a 'gem' in Calgary, even though it's clearly more tourist oriented. It's a good buffet that's starts at 11am on weekends, and includes zoo admission. If you were looking to take the kids to the zoo... It's a great way to include breakfast or lunch. The buffet isn't extravagant but it's reasonable for the price. The chocolate fountain is popular and on this visit at least they didn't refill the strawberries too often, and the other fruit was basically just the standard types of melon. There was an omelette station, and good beef striploin. The seating is nice and...
