Ci siamo passati davanti visitando la medina, peraltro in condizioni climatiche assai sfavorevoli 🌧, e non abbiamo potuto far altro che leggere le poche righe della nostra guida 📙 dedicate a questa moschea 🕌. Venne comunque costruita 🏗🧱 dagli ottomani 👳🏼‍♂️ nel XVII secolo e presenta un bel minareto a pianta ottagonale. Una delle tante moschee che si possono vedere a Tunisi. È nella parte alta di Tunisi, quella più antica e vera. Circondata da vecchie e tipiche costruzioni, attorniata da un dedalo di viuzze frequentate per lo più da persone del luogo e da qualche turista. Il possente minareto svetta sulle abitazioni vicine, finemente decorato e dipinto con colori pastello. Ricorda pressappoco il minareto della moschea di Casablanca, in Marocco, ma è più contenuto nelle dimensioni. L'accesso è consentito, normalmente, per la preghiera ma se si capita in circostanze favorevoli si può fare una breve visita molto discreta.

Première mosquée à prêche conçue comme un lieu de prière de rite hanifite, la mosquée Youssef Dey est construite au début du XVIIe siècle par le souverain Youssef Dey (1610-1637), qui ordonne sa construction en 1616. La mosquée est située au cœur du réseau des souks ottomans que ce même souverain fera édifier de son vivant : Souk El Trouk (réservé aux tailleurs turcs), souk El Birka (marché aux esclaves) et Souk El Béchamkia (pour les fabricants de « Biashmak », savates à la turque).

L’originalité de cette mosquée réside dans le remplacement de la traditionnelle chaire de prêche, le « minbar », en bois par un minbar bâti en maçonnerie, ainsi que par l'aménagement d'une mezzanine, « sidda », pour les lecteurs de Coran, par la forme du minaret, à base octogonale, et l’adjonction du mausolée funéraire du fondateur et de ses proches parents...

Salle de prière La salle de prière est encadrée de cours sur trois côtés à l'est, au nord et à l'ouest. Le long de la façade nord, un portique joue le rôle de galerie-narthex. De plan rectangulaire, la salle perpétue le plan classique de la salle hypostyle ; elle se compose de neuf nefs et sept travées. Les arcs reposent sur des colonnes, d'origines diverses, qui portent des chapiteaux de type hafside, hormis quelques exemplaires antiques. Le couvrement de la salle de prière est en voûtes d'arêtes ; une coupole sur base octogonale et trompes en coquille s'élève en avant du mihrab. Près de ce dernier se trouve le minbar en maçonnerie revêtu de panneaux de marbres polychromes ; ceci constitue une nouveauté par apport aux mosquées malékites dont le minbar est...

🔸جامع یوسف داي، نواة مجمّع معماريّ شرقيّ ـ تونس👀

تمّ بناء الجامع الكبير الأوّل المخصص للأتراك والحنفيين في عام 1615 من قبل يوسف داي الذي يعتبر واحدًا من أعظم حكّام فترة الدّايات. وقد أكمل جامعه بعدّة وحدات مختلفة في الوظيفة وفي الهندسة المعمارية، ولكنها تشكل مجموعة معمارية متكاملة.

يحتوي الجامع على قاعة للصّلاة يسبقها رواق، وتحيط بها ثلاث ساحات، اثنتان جانبيّتان وواحدة من أمامها؛ وتقع المئذنة وضريح المؤسّس على مقربة من السّور الشّماليّ لذلك المعلم وتطلاّن على الأسواق المجاورة.

وكان جامع يوسف داي نموذجا أوّليّا لمجموعة من الجوامع الكبرى التي بناها في وقت لاحق المراديون والحسينيون في تونس. كان نموذجا حتّى لبعض جوامع طرابلس وقسنطينة التي بُنيت في العصر التركيّ.
