Food was average but portions were big. Make sure to ask for price. They don’t put it on their menu and tried to change it on us when we went to pay….

They have a set menu with appetizer, main and dessert. Appy was a small salad and some sort of Tunisian eggplant or okra dip with hot sauce. Also came with the local Tunisian staple, brik. They have a few mains you can choose from. Either authentic Tunisian food or pasta. Dessert was a date treat with 2 juices. We had ordered the couscous lamb and couscous chicken. They weren’t bad as a main but the Appy and dessert could’ve been better.

Probably would’ve given it 4 stars if they didn’t try to change the price on us when we went to pay. We were told 45 dt per person, which was more than reasonable for the amount of food, but when we went to pay they tried to charge us 100dt. Just...

This restaurant offers Tunisian cuisine, the meal contains (soups "chorba", salads " grilled, ommek houria"), then you can choose the main course (couscous with fish, grilled fish, chiken, ojja with sea food, lamb and potatoes cooked in the oven "mosli"), then fruits for the desert. The food is tasty and the prices affordable (from 8 to 12 Tunisian dinars for a meal).. the decoration of the space is beautiful, diffrent rooms and each one having a name (khadija, fatma,...) and a style of the traditional Tunisian houses. After finishing the meal, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee on the 2nd floor which looks absolutely amazing... I recommend this place especially if you're visiting the medina for...

A warm, authentic, traditional Tunisian restaurant, ideal to linger in after a full day of walking through the souk. The people were very warm and welcoming and we were very kindly served.

We were fortunate to have come at a quieter time, so we could really enjoy the peace, togetherness and the beautiful interior. The food was very tasty and opened the doors for me to really learning to appreciate Tunisian cuisine. If I ever come back to Tunisia, I won't think twice and visit them again right away! I left this place with a warm feeling. It brings Tunisia to its fullest. Pictures don't do this place justice, but I want to share a few to have an idea of the atmosphere...
