Resettlement Hello, my name is Naima Muhammad Hares, a Syrian woman who has been living in Istanbul for seven years. I am married and have four children, three girls and a boy. My son, husband and I are sick and in desperate need of help. Our financial situation is very difficult. I have three children who are in desperate need of education and support. My husband is sick and has no help. I hope you hear my story and it makes us happy. The cost of living in Türkiye is very difficult. My house rent is 15,000 thousand Turkish liras, excluding bills, and we are always in debt, and my psychological state is very difficult. I started to fear for my children. A year ago, my daughter was kidnapped and she became very afraid. My son is sick. He has weakness in his eyes, and needs treatment. The hospitals do not care because we are Syrians. My husband is sick and suffers from severe neck, drivers and back pain. He is unemployed due to pain. There is no one left to help us. Now we only have you. I hope that you will evaluate our situation and make us and the children happy so that we can live beautiful days and forget the days of fear and terror they lived in Syria. And bombing and destruction. We do not want to return to Syria. I hope you can help the kids. Thank you. Can you help me? We are tired of the situation in Türkiye. I want resettlement please.

From the moment I arrived at the Canadian Embassy in Ankara, I was met with kindness and professionalism. The security team was incredibly welcoming and respectful, ensuring a smooth entry process.
Inside the embassy, I immediately felt a positive energy—the atmosphere was organized, professional, and reassuring. The staff was courteous and accommodating throughout my visit.
During my interview, I had the pleasure of speaking with an amazing officer who was both professional and kind. Although a Persian translator was present, I communicated fluently in English, and the interaction was seamless. The officer’s approach made the experience truly fascinating, and I left with a sense of appreciation for the embassy’s dedication to excellence.
A huge thank you to the entire team at the Canadian Embassy in Ankara for making this process so smooth and pleasant. Your professionalism and hospitality truly stood out!
Warm Regards Hamid...
Read moreFirst, to all negative reviews... It's not the embassy responsibility to grant asylum! It's not Canada's responsibility to care for you or your children. It's your own, if yoursituation is so terrible you should not brought children into the world without means to support them! Second, the ircc website is clear...DO NOT MAKE TRAVEL PLANS UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR VISA! ITS not the responsibility of Canada to rush your documents because you have travel dates. Third....Canada is not paved in GOLD if anyone expects to go to Canada also expect to work and contribute to the country. Canada does not need people that offer nothing and only want to take. This is why everyone wants to go to Canada. I'm Canadian, my kids are Canadian and my wife is a permanent resident of Canada. I had to go through the process of sponsoring my wife before she could come. She arrived in 2021. Stop blaming the embassy just because you have nothing! It's not canadas problem...
