Small, but very beautiful cave, with interesting stalactites, stalagmites and stalactones. Inside the cave the humidity is very high and the temperature is constant (about 20°C, if I remember correct), which are very good conditions for people with asthma. It was found by chance, but it was conserved and now it is used in the morning for asthma treating, and in the rest of the day is tourist attraction. You can look around it for 10-15 minutes, take a look and make some pictures at the little cave inside, walking as a duck, or just sit on the one of the benches and glaze at the beautiful shapes, that the nature created through the years. The ticket is cheap, so if you are near there it is good idea to go and have a look :)

Visiting Damlatas Cave in Alanya, Turkey, was a disappointment, to say the least. As a foreign student, I expected to receive the advertised discount, but my group and I were discriminated against and were forced to pay the full price. It felt like a targeted policy, and the staff were unsympathetic to our concerns. Upon entering the cave, our disappointment only grew. Though it's touted as a must-see attraction, the cave is surprisingly small and utterly lacking in any engaging features. The stalactites and stalagmites, which are usually a highlight of caves, were indeed impressive, but the whole cave is only a few meters long. Moreover, safety seemed to be an afterthought. The path through the cave was uneven and poorly lit, creating a hazardous environment, especially with so many people inside and the high humidity and temperature. Save your money and time; The Damlatas Cave was a letdown in every way and my advice is against visiting it.

The entrance fee was 30 turkish lira, around 1.25€. The pictures i checked earlier led me to believe it would be a bigger and better experience. What it really is, is a short walk to a terrace/balcony on top of stairs. The cave is nice though, spacious when there's not so many people. The atmosphere and air was clearly different than on the outside. I liked it. It has a special scent. Some people with asthma feel better inside on this specific air. There was a smaller cave where you can 'crawl' into but not very deep, kind of short one. It is just a couple of minutes and you have seen it all. Easy way to see natural speleothem/stalactites and stalagmites. They are beautiful to look at and you do get some nice pictures. If you want to explore more you might want to look for a bigger cave and a cave system elsewhere. The access is nice right next to the damlatas beach and there are shops and city center near by.

It's not the largest cave I have been in but beautiful all the same. The cavern is well lit, and there are wooden steps with safety rails that take you down to the lower level. There are benches to sit on at the bottom. It gets quite hot and stuffy. You only need 10-15 minutes to see everything, but there is no time limit. This is reflected in the cheap entry fee. Look out for the cave cat. To find the cave entrance, just walk under the cable car lines and look over to the left. It's next to the souvenir shops. There are no toilets at the cave, but if you look just to the left in the souvenir shops, there are toilets here. On our visit, these were 8tl.

Thor rumor: cave is pretty good for Asthma.Thats why per year more than 2000 people visit Alanya Damlataş Cave for asthme cure. It was found in 1948 by accidantelly while getting stones for Alanya harbour. After that opned for public. It is one of the first cave which was opened for touristic reason in Turkey. The air in the cave contains relatively high percentage of carbondioxide, around 10 to 12 times more than in normal air, and has 95% humidity. The air temperature is 22–23 °C (72–73 °F) regardless of the season. The cave is full of stalactites and stalagmites that are formed in fifteen thousand years.

Cheap to enter. 30 lira (£1). Very small cave. Only visit here if you're already around Cleopatra beach or if you have a spare 15 mins on the way to or from the castle/other sites. If you miss this then it's literally not a problem. We went around 8.30pm and we were 2 of the 6 people there so it was super peaceful and quiet. You can pretty much see the entire cave within 5 or so minutes unless you stay for the apparent asthma healing effect. It's hot, humid, sticky and smells like feet. There is lighting and a staircase to the main chamber with a handful of benches at the bottom + an information panel.
