Service: Very personalised service and I was impressed by the fact that within 1 day, most of the staff knew us by name. The level of service is probably one of the best in the world. Highly attentive and every single staff in the hotel are extremely professional, polite and kind. Location: good for the view and it’s close to attractions like the palaces and also malls. We didn’t pay much for taxis because everything is relatively close. Concierge: It was my first time in Istanbul and if not for the efficient concierge service who sent me a WhatsApp the first day, I’d be lost in the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. I was communicating with them for anything I needed like arranging taxis and also recommendations on where to go. Ece from Concierge was lovely as she knew where I was having dinner and she sent us a text during our dinner to checkout a nearby Jazz Club for post dinner drinks which I ended up going to and had a great time. I highly recommend to share your itinerary with the concierge upon arrival so that they can assist with give recommendations and etc. Dining: They have their hotel’s lounge which has a wide range of enticing desserts and also a chill cosy outdoor dining (with heater for the winter) that has an amazing view. The hotel also has The restaurant Novikov which is also excellent. The service in the restaurant matches the quality of the Hotel. They have Asian and Italian dishes so you are never bored. We ended up going there 3 times during our stay. On Friday & Sat, they have a DJ which was just epic (thanks to the supervisor Mehmet who told us to go and not miss it). Butlers: they have an unpacking and packing service for the guests. Once they knew we were celebrating a birthday, the next day we were greeted by big balloons and a birthday cake in our room sent by the butler team. MO Spa: this is the biggest spa in Turkey and probably also the biggest within the MO group. Pictures don’t do justice to show the beautiful spa. The Hammam room in particular is my favourite and I immediately booked for a treatment in the Hammam room. The moment you enter the spa, the staff will escort you to the changing room and make sure that you are well taken care of even if you are not there for a treatment. They even come to check on us and offer teas, coffee, yogurt drink (which is all complimentary) whenever we wanted. Room: rooms are definitely luxurious and they did not spare any expense with furnishing and amenities. The interior is designed with a luxury yacht theme which perfectly blends with the beautiful view of the Bosphorus. Everyday there were hand sanitizers, masks, and wet wipes provided. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of good quality Turkish red wine with local sweets and fruits (perks of booking directly with them). Gym: the gym is massive. It has the latest techno gym equipments and few private studios with one for spin class and even an aqua studio. Water and towels were all provided there. It even had a little courtyard in the middle of the gym which makes the place feel cosy and relaxing. The trainer (Engin) also checked up on me to see if everything was okay and was very friendly. Breakfast: During breakfast, there are chefs behind the counter who will help to plate what you want and the waiter will take the plate back to your table so there is absolutely no contact or contamination. Everything is seamless and very organised. Their juices served is genuinely freshly pressed and taste amazing. You can also request for Turkish coffee or Turkish Tea and the hotel’s Turkish coffee is of very high quality and is served in a very nice plate set (comes with the coffee, small glass of water and a Turkish delight). COVID-19 Measures: you will feel safe in the hotel because there are santisers everywhere, masks and anti bacterial wet wipes provided to rooms, social distancing measures and etc.

We loved our stay at The Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus Istanbul. This is our 3rd time staying here, we also stayed here in July 2022 and October 2022. Diana was more than helpful actually she is the best butler and assistant. She was professional and kind at the same time, making us feel like we are the only VIP guests there, which is an amazing feeling. Thank you Diana and thank you Mr. Harun Dursun for always making the guests feel like home. I love the little gifts at the end of our stay everytime. We also loved the restaurants Olea & Novikov and the bar. The menu has a great variety and we ate there more than 6 times! We also tried the Spa and needless to say it was such a lovely experience, I did a facial and my husband Saad did an Aromatherapy massage. We stayed relaxed the whole day. Thank you for always celebrating with us our special occassions ( twice our birthdays and this last stay my husband Saad's retirement). It's very easy for hotels to put luxury amenities, but it takes a special effort to make us feel welcome and at home while enjoying a VIP luxurious experience during our stay, The Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus Istanbul always takes care of us. The whole staff from manager to housekeeping, all of them are professional and made us feel at home. Not sure how I should feel in regards to my stay. The first few hours at the hotel were actually quite pleasant yet they didn’t last for long. The amenities in the room were the bare minimum and were just tossed around, which is not really acceptable when it comes to these brand of hotels. Extremely noisy at night. The B2 was a complete maze I should say, I understand part of it is meant to hold board meetings but it shouldn’t come to a point where it interferes with actual hotel guests. Room service was quick but the presentation or food wasn’t really that impressing nor flavorful. At the end of our stay we were met with a not so fortunate event at the hotel’s main restaurant where our party of 8 had specifically asked that the food be served before a certain time. We were strictly meant to leave then since we had a flight to catch yet the food wasn’t prepped on time. The food was served at the same time everyone had stood up to leave, hopefully the food wasn’t thrown away. The only two things I enjoyed was the gym and the breakfast, the gym had its few share of equipment which I absolutely loved using. I had previously asked the spa to open earlier but I guess they overslept which was fine. The breakfast was good, great selection and I liked the overall environment. These are small details but I consider them absolutely relevant and should be taken in mind for future changes.

Bir ikram ile geç kahvaltıya davet edildiğimiz bu lüks mekânda, makarna, salata, sushi, et ve tatlı kısmında görevli arkadaşlarımızın çok iyi hizmet sunumu oldu. 3. Özellikle salata, tatlı ve makarna bölümündeki arkadaşlar işlerine çok ilgiliydi. (Diğerleri ilgisiz değildi, sadece salata, tatlı ve makarna bölümündekiler daha fazla dikkatimi çekti. 4. Dışarıdaki kış bahçesi içinde aldığımız serviste tüm arkadaşlar ekstra kibar ve saygılıydı. 5. Mescidi ve lavaboları çok temiz, sanki ilk defa siz kullanıyormuşsunuz gibiydi. Her ikisinde de sunulan tek kullanımlık havlular çok kaliteliydi. 6. Mescidde sunulan havlu terlikler, bugüne kadar birçok otelde gördüklerimden çok farklı ve kaliteliydi. 7. Bir aktivite olarak çocuklarımıza saat 14.00'de çikolatalı ürün hazırlama çalışması teklif edildi, ancak kızlarımız uygun olmadığı için iştirak edemediler. (Ancak kurumsallık adına küçük bir ayrıntıyı zikretmek istiyorum; masamıza ilk gelen beyefendi pizza çalışması olacağını belirtti, sonra gelen başka bir beyefendi bu hafta pizza değil çikolata çalışması olacağını belirtti; bu durum personeller arasında bir iletişimsizlik olduğuna işaret edebilir. Bu durum çok önemli olmamakla beraber, kurumsal bir otelde imaj açısından yanlış anlaşılmalara neden olabilir.) 8. Otel girişindeki vale hizmeti ücretli; yaklaşık 3-4 saatlik vale hizmeti için 300 TL bedel ödedik. Bana göre burada da sunulan hizmet vale hizmeti olmasına rağmen; saatlere göre değişen otopark ücreti diye bir ücret, otele yemek için gelen müşteriden tahsil edilmemeli. Çünkü vale ücreti farklı, otelin park yerine araç park edilmesi farklı bir konu. Vale ücreti sabit bir rakam olsa daha adaletli olur diye değerlendiriyorum. 9. Son olarak otele giriş yapmak için sahilyolundan ayrılıp, otelin ilk giriş kısmında bariyeri kaldırmadan otomobile küçük bir arama yapılsa, müşterilerin güvende hissetmesi ve kurumsal imaj açılarından çok iyi olabilir. Güvenlik önemli bir konudur. (Çoğu AVM'nin otoparka girişinde bagaj araması yapılmaktadır.) NOT: Odaları görmediğim için o konuda puan veremiyorum. (English) 1. An ultra-luxury hotel with very good care and attention. 2. In this luxurious place where we were invited to a late breakfast with a treat, staff working in the pasta, salad, sushi, meat and dessert sections provided very good service. 3. Especially the guys in the salad, dessert and pasta section were very interested in their work. (The others were not irrelevant, it was just the ones in the salad, dessert and pasta sections that caught my attention more.) 4. All the personnel we received in the service outside in the winter garden were extra polite and respectful. 5. The masjid and sinks are very clean, it was as if you were using it for the first time. The disposable towels offered in both were of very high quality. 6. The towel slippers offered in the mosque were very different and of high quality from those I have seen in many hotels so far. 7. As an activity, our children were offered to attend chocolate workshop at 14.00, but our daughters could not participate because they were not suitable. (However, I would like to mention a small detail for the sake of institutionality; the first gentleman who came to our table stated that there would be pizza workshop, and another gentleman who came later stated that this week there would be chocolate workshop, not pizza; this may indicate a lack of communication between the staff. Although this is not very important, In a corporate hotel, it may cause misunderstandings in terms of image.) 8. Valet service at the hotel entrance is paid; we paid 300 TL for approximately 3-4 hours of valet service. In my opinion, although the service offered here is valet service; a fee called parking fee, which varies according to hours, should not be collected from customers who come to the hotel for meals. Because valet fees are different, parking a car in the hotel's parking lot is a different matter. I think, it would be more fair if the valet fee was a fixed figure.

We went to the italian restaurant in the hotel. I ordered a espresso it was very bad. The service is very poor. We also ordered 3 pizzas it was great. But the menu and food had nothing to do with italian culture. We ordered the bill they charged us %10 for service which is not legal and 1400 tl on top of it. The 1400 tl is not explained on the bill. So I called a waiter and asked why? He answered “it is written in the menu” i asked to see the menu again and it was written in a way that was barely visible. I did not accept to pay this but in the end they removed the charge. I relised that 3 other customers fell into this trap. If the customer is not alert they will fall into this money trap. Later I went to the reception to make a complaint. They basically said that they have nothing to do with them they just rent them out the place. But as hard as i tried they kept saying that they are not responsible. I think that the whole hotel management and the restaurant management are like a mafia.

I stayed here with my sister and truly the stay was exceptional When u enter mandarin, you feel like you are entering another universe.. they treat you with love, respect, and kindness Everyone was great support Our butler was battohan, he was an amazing guy and he’s always checking on us making sure we dont need anything Su was a great help and her name suits her because she is truly like water.. very delicate and helpful.. even the housekeeping team were always very kind and serving.. i forgot the names of the first two but they were so much help, and today the housekeeper who cleaned the room was ruqyeh and she was very friendly and told me turkish was guzel 🤍 Thank you mandarin for making the experience different and special; i will definitelyconsider mandarin in all my trip moving forward as i saw something here which i didnt see anywhere else.. passion and efficiency 🙏🏼🫶🏼 teşekkür ederim
