Visited 12/09/2024. We have been here a fair few times since 2008, 2019 was the last time before this our last vist, this time however we really noticed the standards aren't very good. Although it was very very quiet which was good for us with our autistic daughter, as too crowded is too much, we couldn't help but notice how dated and old it it how is, bits sticking up from the ground around the pool area which is now a lot smaller, the metal manhole covers were raised at the corners, sticking up, very dangerous, an accident/sliced foot waiting to happen, we had to keep telling the children to watch where they were walking. Very very old sunbeds and tables etc, no snacks like crisps because it was end of season, they only offered to cook chips, (which were very nice) however after a few hours we noticed we believe a Turkish family around the table with a proper meal, pizza, chicken nuggets, burger etc!?? Our eldest daughter had to keep asking the workers to put the water on when she wanted to go on certain slides, then they'd turn the water off again, nothing was really monitored, they like to sit down and smoke and not much attention was given elsewhere, hence why my husband hurt himself. Both him and our daughter went on a joint ride but there clearly wasn't enough water running through as they literally flew out the end and crashed into the barrier at the end of the slide, not all the inflatables had quite enough air which probably didn't help however this shouldn't have happened, my husband's quick thinking meant he had to lift his legs otherwise he probably wouldn't snapped both his ankles, he did however hurt his backside in the process as it was his bum that hit the end of the barrier (13 days on he's still in pain and cant sit properly) however he did manage to protect our daughter from injury thankfully. They couldn't really understand what had happened when they were approached about it, but as I say no one was really observing. When we went back to look again a bit after there was a lot more water in the end of the same shoot which is what is supposed to slow you down. No health and safety here so we definitely won't be returning. A waterpark should have consistent running water in all areas, that's the point of being a waterpark! A very disappointing visit this time, dangerous, dated, no health and safety so we won't...
Read moreWe went on a Tuesday with a 7,4 and 1 year old. We had a fantastic time. Glad we actually ignored the thousand and one bad reviews and took a chance and it was truly super. The old man who owns the park with a moustache is actually very hard working and smiles. You see him moving the tubes around and working hard during the day which is rare to see. The slides were fun. They do close twice for half hour but time flies in the three different pools with the kids. The children slides are actually quite fun. We all had a great day wonderfully surprised. We were debating between Orka and this and I'm glad we chose this. We paid 1200 Turkish kira with the 15 percent discount of booking a day in advance (that's more than half of what Orka world would cost us!) The queues for the slides was probably 4 min maximum. The checking in of the bags process is no where near how it sounds like in Orka water park.
Cons - The food is a bump. I think management should do something about that or at least match the quality of the food with the price.
Few steps missing yes - nothing life threatening let's be honest.
Have someone manning the slides at all times rather than the same person taking turns in opening each slide.
Overall it was a great day and we will...
Read moreWanted a place to relax on a hot day and this was it. Overall I think it's a great value, hence the 4 stars.
Lowlights: Not all slides on at all times, but if you ask they have them all on at some point it's an older park. we all got some minor cuts and scrapes. 2 weeks later they heal and you move on Bracelet system is was weird, but if you know how to work it, it's fine. I don't want to waste money so we plan for a couple beers. then see what is the price of food and add onto the bracelet cost later.
Highlights: My daughter loved it, was in and out of the kids pool, did a little bit on the big pool and rode what seems like 50 rides on the slides. wife and I had a great time on the slides as well less restrictive on safety, young daughter maybe 1m tall was allowed to ride slides (with me) that other larger water parks would prohibit.
to make this a 4 or 5 star park solidly, would need to have the slides on a bit more, and do a bit of overall park...
