I contacted Myra Dental Center after reading excellent reviews and videos from satisfied customers. Their charming representative, Gülcan, responded promptly with a WhatsApp call to discuss my teeth and any concerns. Her calm, friendly approach, knowledge and patience was so reassuring that I decided it was definitely something I should go ahead with. Before I travelled, the costs of an implant and zirconia crown were provided which was very encouraging. I visited Myra Dental Center early in March – having been driven from Antalya Airport in their executive MPV to my hotel the day before. (I chose it, overlooking the sea, a 5-minute drive away). The Dental Center is so smart, occupying two floors with spotless, well-equipped consulting and treatment clinics, with excellent infection prevention and control (staff were all fully masked throughout treatment and practicing social distancing). Gülcan and Ramazam introduced me to their team, whose kindness during the first consultation (which took place on my birthday) was second to none. They even treated me to a birthday cake and sang happy birthday, which was a lot of fun! They were friendly and relaxed so I felt right at home. Unlike the UK, they gave me time to ask questions, regarding anything of concern. Not only did I receive the best dental treatment, but it felt like my general welfare was their top priority. The consultation followed a ‘photo-shoot’ of my mouth, and tomographic imaging provided a full set of 3D X-rays. The Principal Dentist, Dr Erdem Cetin (a respected, published dentist) guided me round my neglected, worn, or missing teeth (rugby) as we agreed a suitable treatment plan. He showed me evidence of past trauma (old abscesses and a cracked jaw at some point) and explained how he would avoid risks, such as where I’d lost bone density from infection, extracting teeth beyond saving, and even where a sinus cavity was harbouring further infection. He assured me this would all be dealt with as part of the treatment. Dr Erdem then illustrated implant placement on the x-rays, also how he would ‘shave’ some front teeth to prep them for zirconium crowns. He took me through the reconstruction of my smile, ensuring a completely even bite so that these teeth and my jaw, strengthened with bovine grafting, would provide strong, longer lasting teeth that would probably outlast me! The process included: creating molds, shaving teeth, temporary replacement teeth, extractions, selecting implant quality, colour options of my new teeth, the pain relief regime, checks on antibiotics allergies and mouthwash aftercare. It was detailed in the fully costed treatment plan, explained by Ramazan who arranged transport and paperwork, and the lovely Gülcan, so I always knew what to expect. Over 7 days I visited the clinic 4 times. I was attended by 7 or 8 members of very well-trained staff, who performed their duties calmly and efficiently, mostly speaking in English so I could understand what was going on. I had 8 practically pain-free, extractions, and implants inserted by their specialist Dr Bayram. Obviously, there was soreness but I never had anything like bad pain. Having implants meant my gums were stitched around the implants in place of the extracted teeth. They always minimised the pain during the process through sprays and injection, and afterwards with injections and tablets. I was given plenty of pain killers for the journey home, and antibiotics to minimise/overcome infection (there was none). At home the stitches and little flaps of gum did feel weird in my mouth, but with regular mouthwashes these slowly settled down and shrank back to normal naturally. It took about a month for the stiches to disintegrate. 3 months later, any discomfort is a distant memory – all that remains is my fantastic smile. As a result at the end of the treatment, the result exceeded all expectations. I just couldn't believe that newly recreated teeth could look so natural! Color, shape, texture, the very feeling of comfort in the mouth. Everything is like 100% your teeth. A smile from the magazine cover, in the best sense of the word! All this became real thanks to Dr. Erdem Kozulcali. He is not just a high-class doctor, but a real dental artist who sees the finest nuances, feels and hears his patient. In short: a doctor who aspires not to a template, but to a masterpiece.

I especially want to mention the managers of the clinic Olga and Ramazan. Ramazan is a great manager, a friendly and attentive host of the clinic, communicating with whom you immediately forget the anxiety and feel that everything will really be competent and correct. But the manager who handled my case was Olga. Largely thanks to her, the final result coincided with my expectations. She was present at all my operations, perfectly translated my wishes from Russian to the fine details of the work, which it was sometimes difficult for me to formulate even in my native language. Super accurately conveyed to the dental technician those minute nuances that I wanted to see on future teeth. She gave me excellent advice on the implementation of teeth color cosmetics and the choice of enamel color. In addition, Olga was constantly on the phone online with me and was an excellent intermediary between the clinic staff and me. In a word, a very attentive person and a professional of business communication. My bottom line: I can safely recommend Myra Dental, real specialists work here = good people who are a pleasure to deal with.
