The hotel and service provided by the staff are both exemplary and completely worthy of this 5 star review.

Upon arrival there was no delay in getting booked in, and both the reception and concierge staff were completely attentive throughout.

The hotel has a 24 x 7 around the clock security presence which is done in a very subtle manner so as not to cause any undue alarm to guests.

The standards of cleanliness and attention to detail are very high throughout the whole complex from the guys who manage the very tidy exterior all the way up to the management team who are always present within the various buildings.

Visitors to Turkey will become accustomed to the numerous cat colonies that are situated throughout the country in villages, towns and cities. It is a cultural thing, and they are highly revered in Turkey as they were in ancient Egypt. The hotel has it's own colony within the hotel grounds, and they are most prominent when the hotel is serving food.

It is a joint effort by staff and guests to gift food to these lovely little moggies, some of which will give you their appreciation and love in exchange. They are a regular feature of the hotel and you may even see one or two regularly curled up on soft furnishings within hotel communal areas.

The hotel boasts a spa, generous outdoor and indoor pools, and a very large sundeck situated above the coastal waters for those who like to swim in the sea. The open water swimming area has marker buoys for safety and a lifeguard. You can also go diving with the assistance of a specialist club situsted at the hotel.

If you want to lie back and enjoy the sun, there are numerous areas to do so, which are well stocked with sunbeds, seating and parasols. There is even an external water slide and splash pools for younger children to enjoy. All external communal areas have separate bars where you can enjoy a cold beverage in the sunshine, and the excellent entertainment staff do an excellent job putting on events during the evenings, which includes local musicians, belly dancers and DJs who play local music and great disco classics aswell as all the new tunes that are out there doing the rounds.

The Falcon Hotel is complimented by its beautiful location and wonderful surroundings which will take your breath away.

The hotel boasts an excellent restaurant which is very well staffed and caters for a multitude of different tastes. The cleanliness is top class, and has two lovely al fresco eating areas that are beautiful and open to use when the weather is fine.

A short walk from the hotel takes you up to the first of two main streets where you will find a plethora of different restaurants and social venues.

Approximately 15 minutes walk away on Saturdays is an outdoor market where you can hone your haggling skills. For those who are old enough to remember the market sketch in 'Life of Brian', it is how the market traders do business. Be prepared for a bit of friendly banter from the traders, and don't be afraid to give a firm no to the person who has your perfect jacket in exactly your size.

You can book excursions with the hotel as Turkey has a lot to offer.

To finish, the Falcon Hotel is a fantastically superb and vibrant location with a very high standard of customer service. I recommend it very highly, and commend the great team that works very long hours to keep things running.

This is an entirely independent review and I have no affiliation with any individual or company that has any trading links with this establishment.

This by far was the worst hotel I could've stayed at! I booked this hotel after looking at the website & pictures on Google. Boy o boy is this hotel a mirage. The first day we checked in we were escorted to our room by a very nice bell guy. That is were the niceness ends our room was very small right next to the elevator which made noise everytime someone used it. Our balcony door didn't lock we were told we would be fine because we were on the second floor. The mattress is like a rock. We were given two beds instead of one. When i asked for 4 extra pillows I was bought only 2. When I proceeded to ask for the additional 2 I was asked by the front desk was I sure I needed that many pillows? I said yes, he said he'd see what he could find. 1 1/2 hour later he brings me 2 pillows without pillow cases one was horribly stained with what looked like blood. I was so disgusted. I then noticed the air conditioner didn't work. We called the front desk several times to inquire about it. We were told someone would come check it out they never came. After 2 hours of waiting & sweating I walked down to the front desk to ask about the air conditioner. The front desk guy stated its winter & they turn off the air in the winter time. I proceeded to explain that their website said they have air conditioning he argues with me saying they do in the summer time! I was told to come back to the font desk in the morning to speak with the manager. I went back upstairs & explained to my spouse the situation. I was pretty upset because they require a breathing machine at night & can't be hot. I specifically booked this hotel for its air conditioning. Needless to say we had to sleep with the balcony door open which led to us being bitten up by mosquitoes. The next morning I spoke to the front desk the lady said she would upgrade us to a different room for our troubles. While they moved us from being right next to the elevator they put us facing the street which is noisy because again we have to sleep with the balcony door open. We then went to breakfast which was mostly cold food prepared hours before. The only thing we could get warm was eggs but when you asked for it to be cooked they had a serious attitude about it. You had to pay extra for orange juice. Dinner was no better & it was really expensive compared to restaurants close by. Our bathroom completely flooded everytime you took a shower. Our room was neglected we had to ask several times to have it cleaned during our two week stay. When the housekeeping did clean my room she threw away a $60 bottle of wine that wasn't even half done. I again spoke to the front desk & was told I would be compensated. Which never happened. Then comes checkout morning I was given a long list of things charged to my room things that I didn't actually use. Several drinks from the bar we never used. I again tried to explain those weren't our charges but soon got flustered & checked out paying someone elses tab. I asked to speak to the manager several times during our visit & was always told they were unavailable due to covid. It was a horrible experience from start to finish!!! If I could've gotten my money back the first night & switched hotels I would have but I was told no refunds for our 2 week stay. I will never stay at this...

We stayed for 13 nights from 30th July to 12th August. Overall, we had a good holiday and appreciated the hotel’s location and facilities. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful, which made a positive difference. The family rooms are cosy but quite small, so keep that in mind if you need more space. However, the cleaning of the rooms was really disappointing. Even when we politely asked the cleaner to do a proper job, she mostly just took out the bins. Sheets were not changed unless we were in the room, tables weren’t wiped, and the cleaner seemed annoyed when asked to clean properly. This was by far the biggest downside of our stay and definitely needs urgent improvement. The food was generally tasty, especially on Turkish night, which was a highlight. However, breakfast and lunch were quite boring with not many choices. More variety and a greater focus on traditional Turkish cuisine outside of special themed nights would be appreciated. One inconvenience was the ironing. There are no irons in the rooms, so you have to go all the way downstairs to the reception ironing room, which can be a hassle after a long day. The main dining room waiters were not very friendly. Asking for something as simple as water seemed to annoy them. I noticed they would bring drinks to some guests but not others, and we often had to get our own drinks. One lady waiter even refused to bring soft drinks to me and my family, saying we could only have water and would need to get other drinks ourselves. Customer service from the dining staff definitely needs improvement. Also, there could be more activities for children. Some nights became quite boring for the kids with not much to do. During our stay, we noticed a mum cat and her kittens living on the grass near the reception area. My family and I tried to look after them, especially in the hot weather, but now that we’ve left, we are worried they might not be cared for. It would be wonderful if the hotel or guests could keep an eye on them and help make sure they are safe and comfortable. Despite these issues, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing holiday with good facilities. With some improvements in cleaning, food variety, customer service, and entertainment, it could be excellent.
