Location is great, but depends where you sit, 1st floor is nice designed but no sea view. 2nd floor only window seats have sea view. So 5 for location.
Reservation. I did reserve a 5 people table with a good view, but when we came, we had been offered seats at 1st floor without view at all. After asking (almost insisting) on 2nd floor seats with the view, we had been offered a table just near the entrance where only one side of the table had the view from afar from the window. So no matter what you reserve first-come-first-sit rule is here, despite that at phone reservations they told all ok we reserved for you. So 0 for reservations - there are just no reservation I would say.
Taste of food - is really great, 5 for that.
Prices and understandability of the prices. Prices are for kg, and they measured the fish in front of us and said that our fish Sea bass would cost 250 lira, when we got bill it was 333 lira. Unfair taking advantage of just billing whatever they think would be ok for this guest.
Menu prices vs bill, keep in mind that the DO differ. After we pointed that prices for baklava was less in menu than they bill, they confidently took the menu and pointed each desert and showing me the cost as I was stupid and cannot read, BUT there WAS difference in price and bill) for this fact they told "oh I will change that in menu" and thats all, no appologies, no recalculating nothing at all. Which shows their service level and not being able to solve issues even if they are not right, so 0 for prices. In general prices are quite expensive I would say, sea bass 540 lira for 1kg, 140 lira for 1 kg for çupra (bream fish). But unfair calculation.
Service, we had been waiting for tea for about 20 minutes, they keep forgetting, and dont pay attanettuon when passing your table, so need to say loudly and rise hand "BAKARMISINIZ!" To call them and ask anything. 2 for service.
So overall, the only plus is a taste of fish, it is delicious, but for that price it is not totally worth it, all other minuses leave unsatisfied effect and feeling that you have been fooled with calculations.
I had been there once and will never come back again, as I think there are other restaurants or kafes which can offer same fish with better service, more fair prices and with better...
Read moreBeautiful location, great grilled fish. If you get a window table, you have the sea on your side and nice breeze, boats passing. The waiter comes with you and shows you the entrees to choose from. We took the octopus in lemon, olive oil sauce, the mix seafood with basil, red pepper, olive oil and lemon (the shrimp could have been cooked less imo) and the mussels which came stuffed with spiced rice (I would have preferred them simple and colder but they were good). Then the waiter comes and brings you the raw fish possibilities (I think at night they're exposed on the counter, we went in the afternoon), we chose a bigger fish which was grilled and a salmonette which was dipped in flour and fried). Both were delicious. They were brought with some leafy greens, radish and cherry tomatoes. There were no sides but he asked us if we wanted a seafood salad to which we said no. That with a big bottle of water, a sparkling water and a glass of white wine (it could have been 2 degrees colder) was 280 TL, about 40 euro at the current exchange rate of 6.4. We were offered the possibility to pay in euro, but it would have been 55 euro (!), 18 euros more. We paid by card and it was excellent....
Read moreThere does not seem to be many reviews from the UK tourists so I thought it worth submitting this. It’s a nice restaurant in most ways and we were met by a young lady that showed us the fish displayed on ice and then accompanied to our table. We enjoyed a whole grilled Sea Bass between us accompanied by a selection of salads. The waitress suggested a bottle of local white wine which was excellent quality. However, we ordered two further glasses and needed plenty of ice as it was nowhere near the same standard. Now the downside, the bill when converted to euro came to €149, which for one fish shared between two plus mixed salads, one bottle of wine plus the two glasses is frankly obscene. Needless to say we won’t return to the restaurant and if Antalya tourist industry insist on generally overcharging then tourists will not be hurrying back. I pay less than this when im at my home...
