ATTENTION THIS IS CONFUSING!
Absolutely, people have been reviewing the WRONG beach!
The public "beach" is a small section of the classic Turkish definition of a "beach." What you will find is a small elevated deck off the cliff face with an entrance walkway into the sea. Entering needs to be done carefully due to the rocks, it may be necessary to time entering with the motion of the sea. At this location you may setup a chair you bring with you or lay out a blanket if space allows. The confusion begins at the sign that is located near one of two stairways down. When you walk down roughly a about 100 foot switchback stairs you land at a private beach club at a concession stand and the changing room area. You need to walk to the right passing the sun loungers with umbrellas and showers until you reach a open deck area with no sun loungers just open deck. Directly in front of you will be another switchback stairway not in use. To your left will be a stairway into the sea, beware the rocks. You will know you are not on the public beach because if you try to use the sun loungers someone will come and demand try$ The guy that braced us wanted 130 try per lounger. He clearly pointed out the public area and basically said get out. Then he proceeded on to a young lady from England. You may also have a problem using the showers and changing room. When I was there it was near 7:30pm and the same guy was angry I was in his way and sprayed me with a hose laughing while other employees laugh too. Very friendly, yes. We all have our own experiences...
Read moreThe beach is boring. Lots of cats. The staff is adequate, but there is one woman from the service staff constantly establishing their own rules: in June, she said that you could leave for 1 hour (paid the place 50 lira) arrived in October, he says: you can leave only for 30 minutes. invents the rules! (Nowhere is it written that it is possible to do so) Everywhere on other beaches they say that it is possible or not, or written on billboards about the rules on the beach, but this beach is not like that. Only at the top it is written that it is impossible with food and drinks (although everything is possible on the free part). The locals can do everything, they don’t find fault with them (I saw hashish and marijuana on the beach all week, drink, eat brought food with them. They smoke tobacco without stopping) very 🤮 unpleasant. The sea is clean. But there are cold currents. It is not convenient to enter the water. Very slippery stairs (I saw how people fell) An ad was written in front of the entrance to the sea. But they don't want to do anything. There are 2 showers and toilets. There are video cameras. On the beach, you can only buy french fries, sandwiches, drinks, beer, ayran and other snacks. Cleaning does well during the day. Umbrellas are old, if the wind blows, then they fall or fly away to those who are resting nearby. There is a free place, but limited, there are always a...
Read moreit is a fine cove , its a deck above water so there is no beach, nice place for snorkeling , you need to be a adequate swimmer, but the deck is not well maintained, there is sun umbrellas flying everywhere because people who work there havent filled the watertank that holds the summer umbrella, the water tank that holds the stick to the umbrella is empty and light therefore it is not heavy enough to hold the sun umbrella. Therefore you get random hits with flying metal sticks while you relax , in 43 Celsius you dont get any shade, when you talk to people who work there , they say that there is hulls in the water cans , thats why they dont fill it up with water. I believe that is a big fat lie that they just repeat to find an excuse to do nothing while they get theire sallary off the municipality. people who work there are not nice to people, you often see them all huddled up near the security booth 5-6 workers chainsmoking for hours while people who paid for entrance they get hit by flying sun umbrellas and they just ignore. important note if you are not a professionel athlete you will have your heart rate fly to the roof when you climb up the stairs to exit the...
