I enjoyed my visit to the Waterhill. The place was clean and well-maintained, and the dolphin show was impressive. However, I was disappointed by the water dog show. One of the dogs did not participate in the show, and the trainer did not feed it. I believe that this was unfair to the dog, and I urge you to reconsider your training methods.
I also noticed a price difference between local and foreign visitors, which didn't sit well with me. After reading other reviews, it seems many people share this concern. I understand the reasoning provided by the administration, aiming to accommodate lower-income locals. However, it's important to remember that not all foreigners are wealthy, and many are also budget-conscious when planning their vacations. It might be worth reconsidering the pricing structure to make it more equitable for all.
I also found the price of the digital images to be too high. I understand that you need to make a profit, but I think 20 euros is too much for a single digital image.
P.S please check your bank statement also if you use your debit/credit card to make payment. They charge you a little for that also.
P.S: I couldn't reply to the owner's response that is why I added a response to my original review. First of all thanks for considering the reviews. Secondly, before come to your place I contact your administration. During the call her told me that the price was discounted but did not inform me that the price was only for Turkish citizens. And also she told me that if I want to take a picture I need to pay an extra 20 euro but she didn't inform me that I have to pay for each single digital image. And yes, after I came to the place the instructor and photographer explained the price and that one was different than during the call your representative told me. But since that day was my last day in Antalya and I have no time to find another place, and also I came a long way I did not want to return back and agreed the high price and bought only one picture. Regarding professional service, I jumped from 4000m in the sky and dived under 10m in the sea. The company also provides professional and high quality service. Taking pictures with birds in the sky and pictures with fishes under see more hard and dangerous jobs than your photographer does. Their service is also professional and also provides high quality. And I paid 20 euro for all the digital images they took in the sky and in the sea. So, to provide professional service and high quality pictures you don't need to charge your customer 20 euro for each single...
Read moreIf like us, you are on holiday with a small child and deciding between spending a fortune to visit Land of Legends or spend the day at Waterhill (but put off by the bad reviews) - we chanced it and we are SO glad we ignored these reviews.
Firstly, I genuinely think the bad reviews have been paid for by Land of Legends because they do not make sense. This waterpark was well maintained, ran efficiently, well-staffed and well-equipped.
FOOD: Whilst you can’t take food in, food and drink were of a good quality and fairly cheap compared to the general prices in and around Antalya. We recommend booking through ‘Book From Locals’ as we paid 40€ per adult, with transfer pick up and drop off, 1x meal and 1x drink per person - we thought it was a great deal.
SLIDES: Our 2 year old loved the kiddie pool, we were a little disappointed that there we no slides we could go on with him, as he wasn’t brave enough to do most of them alone. Anyhow, he didn’t mind, he had an amazing time. My husband and I had our own share of fun on the slides too! We were at the park from 10am til 16:45 and we didn’t get bored.
SHOW: The dolphin, whale and seal show was absolutely incredible. I have to say, I don’t love these types of shows but it was well executed and our little boy LOVED the whale (he did steal the show tbf)
LOCKERS: 100 lira per locker for the whole day, they were large in all fairness and both our bags fit in there so we only had to buy one.
SUNBEDS: Sooooo many. They did fill up over the day but they were comfortable with lots of parasols and linen for shade.
STAFF: Worked incredibly hard, were very polite and helped with absolutely anything we needed.
All in all, we had an...
Read moreAfter app. 10 minutes of swimming, my friend and I tried the two slides pictured below. We followed safety instructions on how to place our hands, etc. yet when I reached the bottom, I thought I’d broken my neck. I almost passed out on impact and dizzily looked around for my friend, only to find her waiting for me with blood cascading from a crater in her knee down her leg like a waterfall. We went to First Aid (ourselves, since the lifeguards weren’t paying attention) and she was briefly treated. The wound was disinfected and plastered but we were then told we were not permitted to re-enter any pool or slide. We were told we could go have the lunch that was included in the ticket anyway, and were then dry chicken pieces on a plate (after being told when entering there would be several options for food). Not so much as one glass of water was offered as compensation, we had to buy any drinks we might have needed still. When we asked if we could get some of the 40+€ we spent on entry back, we were told it was not possible. However, for some reason, the manager (?) considered it appropriate to ask us out to dinner instead! Upon declining this deranged offer, he followed us out of the park and tried to convince us to come back another day. Extremely unprofessional, extremely overpriced. The price for foreigners/tourists is wildly steep especially considering half the slides weren’t even working and there was no food left for the lunches we were promised. Manager needs retraining or his head examined if he thinks asking out two injured and unsatisfied customers on a date is a normal...
