Lviv Railway Station — Attraction in Lviv Urban Hromada

This is the place I was scared of for years 😒 Don’t try to stay in this area during the night time and think of ahead when you buy tickets not to arrive at this station after midnight 🫣 Recently there are lot of cafes and small restaurants were built around, but it wasn’t the case before. You can meet homeless people and sort of chavs around this area at a night time Also cashiers are totally corrupted trying to make some extra money doing the job they’re paid for 🙈 It’s all very unpleasant experience especially considering that this is probably the most tourist destination in Ukraine It’s a bit of a shame really, but I believe it’s actually going to...

The waiting rooms are fairly clean but sometimes uncomfortably smelly. For the cleaning time some security guards just simply ask the travellers to stand up and leave the waiting room for 15 minutes. The inside coffee shops and buffet's are very expensive. Outside the station, in just about 100 steps distance there's a whole line of shops that are already much cheaper that the ones inside the station. Otherwise, the building by itself is pretty, the waiting rooms are equipped with fairly enough seat's and the station outside is also covered so it protects you from the rain, snow or other...

Beautiful building. The place in front of the station has been renewed with fountains and benches. Lots of local transport and little shops and restaurants to snack and eat outside the station. The station looks clean. At the ticket office no English speakers. Come with your travel preferences screenshoted from their website (EN available) to make an easy purchase. Toilets (Turkish style) 6uah. Need to take toilet paper from the cashier desk. Waiting room 35uah/hour. Free WiFi in the station. In the evening and at night lots of people around. Lots of light.
