Al-Jazira Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium — Attraction in Abu Dhabi

I recently attended a match at al Jazira mohamed bin zayed stadium that left me with a positive impression overall. The organization of the event was commendable, the washrooms were clean, and the seating plan was effectively implemented. However, the only drawback was the inadequate parking space, which caused inconvenience due to the large crowd.

Let's start with the positive aspects. The organization of the match was excellent. From the moment I arrived at the stadium, it was evident that the staff had put significant effort into ensuring a smooth experience for the spectators. The ticketing process was efficient, and the security measures were well-implemented without causing unnecessary delays or inconvenience. The seating plan was clearly laid out, and the staff members were proactive in guiding spectators to their designated seats, which contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable viewing experience.

Another noteworthy aspect was the cleanliness of the washrooms. It's often a challenge for stadiums to maintain clean and hygienic facilities, especially during events with a large attendance. However, in this case, the stadium management did a commendable job in keeping the washrooms tidy and well-stocked throughout the match. The cleanliness greatly enhanced the overall experience and reflected the attention to detail given to maintaining a pleasant environment for the spectators.

However, the one drawback was the parking space. With a significant crowd in attendance, it became evident that the available parking was insufficient to accommodate all the vehicles. This resulted in a frustrating experience, as finding a parking spot became a time-consuming and stressful task. The lack of adequate parking facilities was disappointing and hindered an otherwise well-organized event.

In conclusion, the stadium provided a great match-watching experience, with commendable organization, clean washrooms, and a well-executed seating plan. The only significant issue was the insufficient parking space, which inconvenienced the attendees. The stadium itself is very fine in fact. It's not the most modern stadium in the world but the view of the pitch is very good, even from the cheaper seats.

The service and organization at the big games with big attendances are unfortunately very poor.

First of all the lines at the entrance are huge and people keep jumping them and nobody cares. We came an hour before the Al Hilal Al Nassr game and it took us 40 minutes to reach our seats. No wonder by the start of a sold out game the stadium was half empty.

After the game there is no organized line to catch a taxi. People jump on the road trying to grab a cab before someone else does.

However by far the most ridiculous thing is the bag check and storing prohibited items during the game. Nobody seems to have a list of what's actually prohibited so it is up to security staff to decide if you can bring your power bank inside. The items are not properly stored, they are simply placed on a concrete and you don't get any token to collect them afterwards. The storage tent is extremely dirty and even if you can find your things after an event you will probably want to throw them away rather than use them again.

After the game of course my lady was unable to find a fragrance and a power bank she was forced to leave there. Have I seen people using power banks inside a stadium? Yes. Could the security staff explain to me what kind of threat a power bank possesses? No.

There was a big crowd of people who had their things stolen from the tent and the security said they are not responsible for the things they demanded to be left at the tent. They also said that they don't know how one can contact their manager.

Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium is a great venue but also the first place in the UAE where we had something stolen. And not only us but most of the people who left their belongings with the security.

P.S.: to make things make even less sense all water had to be left at the entrance but I believe no water, but only Pepsi, was...

Muhammad Bin Zayed Stadium provided the perfect backdrop for this thrilling football encounter, and I look forward to returning for more exciting matches in the future

I would suggest you watch a match or some matches at this stadium. You will really admire it.
