I had an absolutely amazing time during my visit to Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah! The highlight of my trip was undoubtedly the Jebel Jais Zipline, which holds the title of the world's longest zipline. The sheer length of the zipline is simply mind-blowing and offers an unparalleled adrenaline rush as you soar through the air, taking in the stunning views of the mountains and valleys below.
Before my adventure, I was fortunate to secure a RAK Zipline voucher, which not only made the experience more affordable but also added to the excitement of the day. The entire zipline length was exhilarating, and the feeling of flying above the rugged terrain was absolutely surreal.
Aside from the zipline, there were so many other things to do in Jebel Jais. I also went on a thrilling Ras Al Khaimah flight tour, which offered breathtaking panoramic views of the entire area. The majestic landscape of Jebel Jais is truly a sight to behold, and the flight tour provided a unique perspective of its natural beauty.
Overall, Jebel Jais is a haven for adventure seekers, and I highly recommend visiting this gem in the UAE. From the world's longest zipline to the mesmerizing Ras Al Khaimah flight tour, the experiences here are simply unparalleled. It's an excellent destination for those seeking both thrill and serenity amidst nature's wonders. Don't miss the chance to explore this stunning region and all the incredible activities it...
Read moreGreat Zipline Experience, but Front Desk Needs Serious Improvement
The Jebel Jais zipline experience itself is genuinely fantastic, soaring over the mountains is thrilling and beautifully organised. The shuttle transfer team, briefing staff, and especially the launch crew are all exceptional and professional and reassuring throughout. They make you feel safe and excited from start to finish.
However, I have to be critical of the front desk experience. There’s a clear disconnect between the person handling the WhatsApp chat and the actual staff on site, the information provided often conflicts, which creates unnecessary confusion. More importantly, the front desk female staff really let down what is otherwise a world-class operation. They were unenthusiastic, curt, and not particularly polite, which unfortunately sets a poor tone at the start.
The first interaction guests have is with the front desk, and if the staff there appear miserable or disinterested, it dampens the mood before what should be an exciting adventure. Some customer service training and attitude improvement would go a long way in aligning the front-of-house experience with the excellent operational team behind the scenes.
Overall, a great activity, but the front desk team needs to match the energy and professionalism of the rest...
Read moreMade a booking online, payment went through but no booking confirmation. Had to spend time verifying with their team that I had a booking. Slightly annoying.
Great drive to the location, it was in the middle of the week so there was no traffic and very few people.
Check in at the zipline and the prep process was fast. Not impressed with the lady that was putting on my gear: she told me to change my hairstyle but luckily someone else confirmed my hair was fine; while she was prepping me, the guy next to me had done two people. Didn't feel confident she did a good job.
Asked the guys at the top to check my gear, it was all good - mental apology to the lady for my lack of trust in her.
The flight was over so quickly - I don't think it was even one minute! Adrenaline rush zero. Pretty views, not particularly impressive.
What was incredibly impressive though was the structure on arrival which is completely suspended in air, held by steel cables. What a piece of engineering!
Back to the attraction: slightly overpriced in my view. If it was crowded and I had to wait, I would have walked away. But as I experienced it, it was a super fun...
