1484 by Puro deserves a full 5 stars for an unforgettable dining experience! Not only is it the highest-altitude restaurant in the UAE, but the service, food, and breathtaking atmosphere are truly phenomenal.

When we arrived, we didn’t realize that reservations were required to enter the restaurant. Thankfully, the guard at the entrance helped us sort it out and allowed us through after we made a quick reservation online. However, due to high demand and many people booking simultaneously, our reservation didn’t appear in the restaurant’s system. Despite this, the manager was incredibly accommodating. He reassured us and kindly asked us to wait while he arranged a table for us—a gesture we greatly appreciated.

Once seated, we were immediately captivated by the stunning mountain views. Being at such a high elevation gave us a unique perspective, and the vistas were absolutely awe-inspiring, especially as the sun began to set. It felt like dining on top of the world.

For our meal, we ordered the chicken satay, a burger, and fish and chips. Each dish was cooked to perfection, with vibrant flavors and beautifully presented plates. The chicken satay was tender and flavorful, the burger juicy and satisfying, and the fish and chips were crisp and delicious. Pairing this meal with the incredible sunset views made it a truly magical experience.

We all take this opportunity to explore and discover amazing places here in United Arab Emirates.. and honestly you will be surprised. We went to experience the « sunrise » in Jebel Jais Mountain and also to visit (1484_by_Puro) for breakfast. Prior to the day of our visit we have checked and read that « Reservation » is needed and you cannot just walk in especially in time for « sunrise and sunset » and this has been clearly meantioned so we booked weeks before our visit. The restaurant opens at 8am and they have their own entry wherein the security asks for your reservation before you will be allowed to drive up. As expected the view from the restaurant is amazing, magical, wow .. name it. The team are amazing, they check your name in the reservation list and honestly they do their best to accommodate most of the guests to be seated outdoor (without compromising the social distancing set) For the very special view that they offer -they do not charge a lot ( surprisingly ) and thank you. The view needless to say is amazingly beautiful The place is very nice The food is very good and cheap And all the staff tried their best to accommodate all guests by adjusted tables, bringing orders on time and with a smile and bu checking on their guests if everything is okay.
