THE HIGHLIGHT OF BUTLINS. Absolutely amazing, fun and spacious. When your arrive the wue is big however there is plenty of space inside and you will love it. They also run waves during your play. Upon entering you can see all the buggies: strollers parked up and then you go into the changing room which you have to put a £1 coin inside but you get it back. The pool is warm and there are floats given, a long foam one and a frog and bear shaped one. There are also some water tables for the younger kids. Lots of fountains, umbrella tree waterfalls, jacuzzi bubble area, deeper pool area, wave section, multiple slides etc. it’s endless fun and my toddler learn to float and enjoy water, we were there for a long time and unable to leave until she felt hungry. I highly recommend using the pool facility’s during your stay as much as you can. Also pack sliders/flip flops to save your time when changing in and out.
There was an employee carrying a waterproof camera and offering your little one to have a photo. Plenty of life guards at each pool watching and ready with the whistle.
Heads up 9:00am is the quiet toddlers time but 10am with many people is still fun and safe. The water is low and toddler safe but if you have any floats it’s a good idea. Adults were having just as much fun as the kids. An announcement is made every time the waves are about to start to everyone comes over. They do offer hair dryers here but you have to air up. The moment we left the pool my toddler had a banana and fell asleep, she knocked out and was snoring.
Make sure to bring your cream as after the swim your skin will feel very dry as well as...
Read moreDefinitely an improvement on the old swimming pool at Bognor. Flumes and rapids were great. Despite all the shows and arcades etc Splash is the highlight of our sons holiday. The reason for the 3 stars is the lack of cleanliness, stairs to flumes and rapids were gross and the changing room floors are aren’t clean. I know it’s hard to keep is sparkling with the amount of people coming in and out but the thought of all that dirt, hair and plasters being taken into the water itself isn’t a pleasant thought. On our last visit we could see blood on the floor as you walked out of the changing rooms heading to the pools. Lifeguards walking around it and nothing being done, nearly 2 hours later when leaving the pool the blood was still there and had not been cleaned up. The pool, rapids and flumes are brilliant but the lack of cleanliness doesn’t make it the most...
Read moreFantastic! As a family of 4 with 2 young children firstly the size of the changing rooms are very generous to help get you in and out, aswell as the size of the lockers (1 locker can easily hold a whole family belongings). There is a space for buggy’s to park upon entry to the facility. In the pool lots to do for little ones as well as those of a more adventurous desire! Lots of lifeguards around. The only queue is normally for the family boat ride, all the others are either non existent or a couple of minutes! If you do have someone with ASD who can’t cope with queuing speak to the staff at entry to the building about a yellow wristband- first it allows staff to know if the individual has additional needs plus it does allow you a couple of opportunities to ‘fast pass’ which can come in useful for those who...
