Caffe Grey — Restaurant in Arun

This is a popular venue, I'm glad that we booked ahead.

Five adults and a toddler for brunch; the restaurant was about 75% full but the two members of staff coped well with our orders.

There was around a 30 minute wait between ordering and receiving the food, you should factor this in especially if you have a "high maintenance" toddler with you.

The staff were very patient with him and he seemed to be entertained by their attention.

When the food arrived, there were no complaints. The cooked dishes were hot and the sandwiches well filled.

I really enjoyed my "full English" and ate every scrap, as did everyone else.

We were looking for a new 'go-to' cafe for breakfast and lunch visits. We're locals, and was hoping this was going to be our new place. Looks nice, menu looks good. Walked in at 08:45 on Saturday morning, no friendliness or smile, and was told, 'only one table left, all reserved '. Apart from one other occupied table, the place was empty. Popped in for breakfast today after hearing good things, and so glad we did, a very friendly welcome to us and our little dog, followed by a very tasty latte, and the breakfasts were amazing, I had the greys breakfast, I was too bothered about the mushrooms, but I'm quite a fussy old git, but the rest was served quick, was hot and fresh, and very tasty, the wife had eggs benedict, which was gorgeous, overall, a fantastic way to start the weekend 😋 Highly...
