The staff who having been mowing the grass for about the last year in Winklebury, Basingstoke have been destroying wild flowers and native hedging plants again and again and again!? This area is the grass verge next to my house and the destruction was adjacent to my garden wall and around a tree outside my house. Ox eye daisies that hadn't even flowered strimmed from around the base of a tree on a grassy area opposite my house!? The plants adjacent to my garden wall were not causing an obstruction to vehicle drivers? Yesterday, in an area where NO GRASS was growing 3 x hawthorn bushes more than 3.5 feet tall were destroyed by a "grass" mower? I heard the grating noises as the woody plant was being chewed up and spat out!? I had put sticks in the ground to indicate where there were plants but most were knocked over? I had also weeded the area so there was no grass. Also destroyed were bulb flowering plants that were just about to start opening? One piece of plastic litter is now several pieces of plastic litter after the mower got to it? The area looks worse after your mowers have visited! In "No Mow May" I think the grass in Winklebury, Basingstoke was cut about 3 - 4 times!??? Councils need to get away from this 1950s attitude to everything and everywhere being too neat and tidy and actually start thinking about what is best for the planet; the birds, insects, bees, butterflies! Humans have destroyed so much already and now we are seeing adverse weather events as a result of this! Grass cutting is too excessive. Spend the funds on rewilding, plant hedges and wild flowers and create habitats for our endangered species such as the hedgehog? What is the rhyme or reason of destroying plants and flowers in the Summer when there is a plethora of very low growing flowers such as daisies, clover, bee loving dandelions, buttercups etc.? I have previously contacted Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council a few times about this and they ask me to contact Hampshire County Council? So I have to repeat myself over and over. Hampshire County Council have today told me to contact Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council. I've been having the buck passed back to me by BDBC & HCC for over 12 years! I have yet to see some basic customer service where my issue is forwarded on to the correct department!? So who is responsible?

Do not make the mistake when you park in Basingstoke to use the Ringo parking app at all time. I have 2 cars registered on this app and not realising I left my default car on the app when I use the app. So when returning to the car, I got a ticket. So that’s understandable because I didn’t change the car registration no. But at all time I did pay for one car regardless which car. I appealed to Basingstoke council and they said this is my own mistake and cannot do anything about, even I show them both cars are registered on their app. So pls check your app if you decide to use their app. Ringo and Basingstoke council didn’t show any common sense or any empathy. They are there to take your money. During these challenging time, you think they would be more sympathetic and understanding. So avoid at all cost to use their app and use coins. I have no good word for Basingstoke council either, they in collaboration with Ringo. Very disappointed in...

What kind of clowns are you employing. Harassing and badgering a man because he has a camera? Their egos and entitlement are out of control. Wish they’d do what you employed them to do, and not harass people filming. Silly morons! Making Basingstoke and Dean Borough Council the laughing stock...
