Nice quiet family park, a playground for kids including swings, slides ect. A woodland area with a stream running through it, parts of it overshadowed by Willow trees which looks beautiful, this particular part you will find many squirrels. It also has a beautiful landscaped Pond, with swans, geese, ducks, much wildlife is found here. A good park for photographers, very photogenic, many areas and places to capture beautiful shots, landscapes, flowers, wildlife, you can capture shots of the iconic river TAME since it runs throughout the park. On weekends this park is utilised by competitors of football and cricket, anyone can come to watching support local teams and of course free entertainment. This park is linked to different areas, Great Barr, Handsworth Wood and Hamstead, there is a direct trail, linking to One Stop Shopping Centre, which only takes around 10 - 15 minutes. Very friendly and helpful staff. The park is well looked after and often Paroled by police on their bikes for extra safety for the community. What more could you...

Be careful all of a sudden there are a lot of activities between 7-9pm that shouldn’t be happening here at this park and local authorities Including the police need to come here during this time. We have seen a family roll up on a man and several of them beat the hell out of him in front of children and members of the public including myself. People have broken down the fences so they can park their cars (some of them have no reg plates) where they aren’t permitted to park. Plus they are bringing their cars into the park areas such as the fields to race their reg less cars. Also Groups of people from multiple different households are not social distancing at all. I’ve been coming to this park all of my life, it used to be perfect but it has been getting run down...

Fantastic park for all users. It has toilet facilities - only available on certain days when the park staff are on duty - and it is disabled friendly. The parking areas can get very busy outside the building with the toilet and information centre, with only one space for disabled parking but there is an overflow that offers plenty of parking spaces to the rear. This park has a lovely moat with ducks and swans, with environmental gardens dotted around. Paths will take you to various areas of the park but one very short walk gives access to the bridge over the river Tame, which is breath taking. This park is worth a visit.

I think I've found my new favourite park in Birmingham! Yes, it's a bit of a drive from where I live, but to be able to walk in peaceful and beautiful surroundings is well worth it. Lots of very good paths and benches for when you need a rest, paths very wide and flat, which is great for me as I can walk slowly round, lots of places for my Westie to explore as well and I think I've only walked round a bit of it. Parking is good, spaces just inside the park or a car park a bit further up the path. I would genuinely recommend this park, both me and my Westie love it!
