KFC Perry Bar - One Stop Retail Park — Restaurant in Birmingham

I visited you KFC branch at the One Stop Shopping Centre in Perry Barr. Birmingham today at 4:30pm. I was with my two young sons who very patiently sat whilst I queued up.

Upon entry into the store at 3:30pm, it was not busy, only 2 tables had seated customers. There was however customers queuing to order. The queu had 4 customer standing/ waiting to order. The store also has a drive, in which again was not busy. The food area was full of prepared food, so much so that they were finding it difficult to store the food and start stacking food on top of already prepared food. There are 2 tills and one member of staff was serving one customer then going onto other duties leaving customers waiting to order. The other till was not staffed. At around 4:40pm I thought maybe it would be easier to walk through the drive though to order, however decided not to in case I was refused service as was not in a car. Nb There are also no self service machines available for customers to submit their orders.

I was eventually served by the staff member at 4:46pm. I joked with the member of staff...saying that the man preparing the fries is having a "field day" and he does not know where to put the fries and food he is preparing however the customers are waiting to be served. The staff member did not understand so I said I was not happy with the level of customer service and asked for the name of the manager so as I could submit a complaint. I gave her my order which took less that 2 minutes to prepare.

The manager then came over and again I expressed my disappointment with the level of service. Whose name I took for my complaint to KFC. He explained that they were having some issues with delivery service and they also had drive through customers to deal with. NB the drive through was not busy. I was not prepared to continue listening to his explanation as it was taking up more of my time. I said that all I need was a name of a manager that he has now supplied and that I would make a complaint. Furthermore there did not seem to be any issues with staff preparing food. This was more a issue of not managing the staffing resource correctly.

It is the second time I have frequented this particular KFC store and I have found the level of service below average at best. I have been to other KFC stores and never had this level of service. I pointed out that the store was not even busy and that how did he manage when he had more customers? I found this particular manager completely incompetent and having very poor managerial skills. A blind person (and no offence to blind people) could do a better job, as at least they would listen to customer feedback instead of coming up with a poor...

If I could give 0 stars I would to KFC One Stop Perry Barr Birmingham.

Very bad customer service, very bad and poor attitude towards customers. Rude staff with their unhelpful and sulky ways have made this branch an unpleasant place to visit.

I had problems there before 2 years ago in 2016 and now exactly the same again Thursday the 10th of May 2018.

Thursday the 10th of may that afternoon I ordered a 3 piece meal 2 thighs and 1 leg.

A black female staff served me at the time and she at first was being a little bit too fast with me and I was not very happy about it.

I was a little bit annoyed whereby I asked her was to slow down because I couldn't hear what she was saying to me and she in a rude manner ignored what was being said to her.

She then asked me what drink I would like and I told her once that I was fine and didn't really want a drink, I just wanted another extra fries instead.

She then kept on asking more than once what drink and encouraging me to have a drink when I said "No I'm fine for now." "Just wanted another fries nothing wrong with that."

Then she started to behave in a way towards me which was totally unacceptable in a rude manner. She was being very unfair and unkind.

I then complained to the manager on that same day about this female staff on how she behaved towards me. He said to me that this was not acceptable and that he was going to speak to her, but I don't know how effective this wll be. Will she get away with her appalling behaviour?

No respect for customers unbelievable.

What a let down for KFC. I would avoid this place unless you want to be treated disgustingly, receive wrong orders and small portions. Poor and cold atmosphere within.

I asked for four pieces of chicken breast and because I took away and hadn't ate at KFC, I hadn't bothered to cheak.... Like who dose that ( let me know 😏). Any there's only three pieces, took pictures, got picture of receipt, holla. Now the chips were slice chip wood splinters most part and 90% looked brown / stale, very sweaty fries. I am not kidding proper off and teasting weird. Like when the spicy signature kicked off no lie fire. Now it's like watered down big time and unfresh like it's something else exactly, particularly at late. Now if you go One Stop KFC it's like do you really trust the value of a ten piece chicken with signature fries. Come on Birmingham. What's going on there right now. Same with New street and the high street KFC. Let's be real please. £18 for chicken and the chicken bone is black on either end of the leg. My hands was ties by where I decided today around two hours ago to visit Perry Barr One Stop. I also feel hostility by the sheer number of..... Anyway wish I could actually see what's actually going on back there where, we would never get along type social bond camaraderie seem to influence nowadays KFC. Because I feel awkward by the whole package isn't taking away the guys whom are totally super good at the job at KFC I have nothing but admiration for you guys. Let's be real though how has the signature become what it is today 🤔. Not gonna spell check nor check grammar, I'm not a critic just expression my views on KFC in above areas and whether something else is behind it all other than myself and the way I look and what I'm about, my culture and what not 🙁 will I buy from those Three KFC's again Nah. I avoid them by all cost until serious change is of note....
