I recently visited Blyth Beach and had a wonderful experience overall. The scenery was beautiful, with clean sands and a refreshing sea breeze that made for a perfect walk along the shore. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy the waves, and take in the coastal charm.
The facilities were quite decent – public toilets were available and clean, and parking was easy to find, which made the visit hassle-free. There are also plenty of benches and spaces to sit and take in the view.
Just a short walk away, I found a lovely Italian restaurant that served delicious pizza and pasta – a great spot for a meal after the beach. For those looking for some evening fun, there’s even a casino nearby, which added an unexpected but fun twist to the day.
The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that it could use a bit more in terms of changing facilities or beachside shops, but overall, a great spot for a day out with a mix of nature and entertainment.

Read moreIf you are a fan of dogs it is fine because there are dogs in abundance. If like me however you are not then avoid the promenade & the beach. I like to have a walk along coast to enjoy fresh air & also like to take with me a flask & sandwiches but to date I have been knocked over by a dog & the fall ripped the tendons in my foot which left me in agony & unable to go to work for wks. The owner of the dog did not apologise. Also the sandwiches that I take with me are often ripped out of my hand by a dog as every passing dog not on a lead which is most of them has a go at trying to get your food & also once knocked my fish & chips that I had just paid almost £8 for off my knee as they jumped up to get them. The owners just laughed & commented that their dog cannot resist food. As well of course you have the frequent deposits that they leave usually next to a seat to contend with. Apart from that it.s fine when they clean the...
Read moreWhat can I say. Blyth is my home town. The Beach has always been a main attraction. Beautiful views, well maintained prom, historical connections WW2 battery and was a submarine base. Long winding walk along dunes to Seaton Sluice. Sandy beach some pebbles returning. Dogs allowed on certain section of beach at different times of the year. Shop, cafe, fish and chip shop/ ice cream parlour. Ice cream van and hot food van. Parks for various ages. Beach huts for hire. Parking free has vastly improved over the years but it's so popular at peak times you may still find it difficult. There is parking along the links which are interconnecting with the dune walk and free. Toilets still let the area down a bit but...
