South Beach — Restaurant in England

Came down yesterday for the first time with my family (with 2 children under 5). It is so clear that the ownership understands the needs of families with young kids.

The back outside area of the pub is fenced in, and the inside is all windows - meaning that if your kids want to play outside, you can see them at all times. We ordered food, and the children were served first (something that should really happen in more places!). They also had lots of options for kids food in different sizes (under 5, over 5, and bigger appetites). The kids both loved their food too.

The management was extremely friendly and accommodating (despite us asking a million questions) and made sure we felt looked after.

The food was extremely reasonably priced, with lots of options (the beef dripping and merlot sauce was fantastic).

The atmosphere was great. There were a lot of families with young children, and everyone was chatting and the children were playing together.

Can't recommend enough for families. Decent selection...

Visited this little gem of a pub for late lunch. From entering very relaxed friendly atmosphere. We chose where to sit after ordering at bar. Very helpful and friendly staff. Daughter chose mixed grill ( wow very impressive). Everything was cooked perfectly and well presented. Myself fish and chips very well presented everything on plate where it should be. Absolutely delicious very well cooked . Staff asked if everything OK with meal. I can imagine this place beinv very busy .I heard they have a band once a week. The pub was taken over by a beautiful little family. The food is amazing and excellent value for money especially when you a few kids! You always get a friendly welcome. They have weekly good deals and Sunday lunch! They have an enclosed park for little ones! There are various entertainments on check out Facebook which is updated regularly.
