Started the walk from Cow Lane after parking close by. Unfortunately, within the first 100 metres, the path had a number of dog poo deposits, which didn't bode well. The rest of the climb up to White Nancy was quite steep but manageable. Not recommended for people with walking difficulties. The views were very impressive on a clear, sunny day. Not too many people about. The walk along Kerridge Ridge up to the Trig point is relatively flat and easy. But yet again, more evidence of dog poo. If dog owners can't be bothered to clear up their pets' deposits, then don't get a dog!! Show some respect. The walk down towards the River Dean is very steep, and care should be taken if it's wet. The walk towards the Waulkmill Waterfall is level, and you'll be rewarded with an idyllic scene. Great photo opportunity. A short walk along Ingersley Vale brings you back to Bollington. An ideal walk that will only take 2 to 3 hours at a very...

Loved this walk! Quite an incline to get to the top but manageable from a few different paths. Lots of places to wander off to around and easy paths to follow. Cracking views from the top on a clear day. Few free council car parks to park in Bollington then a little walk up to the country park. Nice place to go with the family for a picnic or something. Plenty of space for dogs to...

Good cardio workout to prove I'm not as fit as I used to be, but the view from the top is worth it, looking out over towards Manchester, and South West towards whatever it is that's out there.... Wales I'm sure is lurking somewhere on/over the horizon. And a great ridge-top walk that goes on and on, with beautiful valleys either side to keep...

What can you say? White Nancy is the iconic symbol of our town, it’s the uniting pride and meeting point for our whole community. Hosting picnics singsongs and family walks for centuries gone and to come. Never a day goes past when I don’t look towards her or even run past her! No bathroom or concession stand one star!
