A fantastic quirky, interesting and welcoming traditional wet pub. Family run supportive of the local community. There are locals at the bar, walkers who are passing and dogs (accompanied by owners) who receive biscuit treats. The interior changes with the seasons and outside is a hidden gem of a mill town garden. Ale drinkers appear happy, a splendid selection of scumpy cider and all the other alcoholic and non alcoholic options you could want. Even traditional jars of sweets on the shelves for you to select.
