Very good for walking well behaved dogs (as there are some ducks and geese nested here). Great for short walks and suitable for bikes but keep an eye out for children and dogs as this area is used frequently by all. Dog waste bins and general wast bins are located on the main paths and these are well used as there is little or no waste in the surrounding area. Nice for a short walk for locals.

Nice circular walk from the skate park round to the lake and back with the option of walking up to the Tump, to get a view from higher ground. Never really get away from the traffic noise but nice views and fresh air nonetheless.

This is such a lovely little forest to have a walk in. It was full of squirrels too! Accessability wise it does have some fairly steep parts, but the path was smooth the whole way around.

Clearly a work in progress. Seems to have been that way for ever unfortunately. The wider wooded walks are much more satisfying than the locally admired 'Duck Ponds'...?! Ducks in a messy sludge is more accurate a description I'm sorry to say. So much more could and should have been done over the years with planning and landscaping to make this a much more visibly pleasing...
