Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the management. I booked the room for my daughter's birthday and it was the worst decision. The whole birthday party is a big disappointment because of the people working there (only Ryan was very helpful and great with the kids) A few facts. First call Tuesday: I can be there 20 minutes before to decorate the room, there are no sandwiches on the plate for adults. There will be two pieces of everything. On Thursday, another person called and said that I couldn't be there earlier to decorate, but only at the time as the party starts, but when I said that someone had agreed in an e-mail earlier and during a telephone conversation on Tuesday another lady said that its not a problem and I can be there 20 minuts earlier. She gave 10 minutes with a big chick and comment there was no way someone tell me about 20 minutes but when I asked them to check with who I was talking two days before they said they couldn't check and they didn't know who called the other day and they do not record conversations.Sandwiches also became available, although this was not possible before. In the confirmation that I received with the invitations, it is written that the parents (organizer) SHOULD be there 15 minutes earlier to greet the guests. Of course they said it wasn't true. The day of the party: the food was supposed to be served by 2.30, I asked several times when we will get food . They brought the food at 2.40, apologizing that they had a lot of people ordering coffee at the bar. Unfortunately, they still didn't bring the whole order and two children still had to wait hungry for the food. And we had room till 3o 'clock. Unfortunately, they had my order a few days earlier and the guests at the bar had more priority than we? After a 2-hour party, we had to leave the rented room and our host said that we can now move to the open room (no extra charge) and we have been there several times for birthdays and it was always was like that. After 5 minutes the manager came and told me that I had to pay an additional £200 immediately or everyone had to leave right now. I said that I could pay extra for adults (at the party adults have free entry)but not for children because it was already paid for. She did not agree so I asked if it's better to come as an individual guest because then you can stay longer than 2 hours if it's not very busy and that's what we were always told at the reception. The manager said that there not true and it has never been like that and when you buy a ticket you are only buying for 2 hours and after you have to leave. and I am not telling the truth, and of course the other employee agreed with her. The party men website says what I exactly said. The manager should first inform herself about this because she has major shortcomings.Unfortunately, the manager says completely different things than in the company policy and website. Cleanliness: we were in room number 2. The carpet was dirty (full of stains )and poorly vacuumed. I don't...
Read moreFirstly overpriced for what you can offer. Completely understaff, very cold inside too. I had booked a party of 25 kids in the weekend and they reserved me a table of 4 ( in the restaurant area for parents) seats for 30 kids - due to policy . Weeks before the party I have asked advice about the party from the staff on the floor - been misinformed when I have asked about the upgrade party for members - I have asked what is for the upgrade - being told I can pick the hot food with the cold buffet - when arrived at the party the room wasn’t ready - the lady at the entrance didn’t knew which room number we are, getting down there I saw another room being beautifully set up, ours still had the hoover on 20 mins before the guests arrived, then the lovely lady who host our party told me that she will have to ask the kids about what food they are having, it was just at that moment when I found out that the Kids will only get a plate of food of choice between 3 nuggets or 3 fish fingers or 3 plant based nuggets or 3 sauces with fries. I couldn’t believe it when they told me this as I was expecting the cold buffet along with the hot food( I have been told if I want any sandwiches to pay extra - I can order them) what is the point in being a member and getting an upgrade which created chaos - and gives you less food - kids where asking me for more food - the host lady shouted at the kids 3 times about why they are raising the hand if they don’t order the food she was calling - and this making it more stressful to control and organise - her list was useless, ended up parents got involved and organised- with the squash we runned out - a parent had to go to ask for more and bring more to the room. Freezing cold - kids where complaining about the cold too. Microphone is not working properly kids could barely hear the staff calling them on the stage. They sing 2 songs and no snowing machine used. Kids will be kids and they run around anyways but as a parent I don’t recommend it was very stressful and not organised at all. Not that I need it but my kid was meant to get a gift from them it never happen ( according to the website) I am also a member for many years now but this will stop.

Read moreThis is a very tired soft play and very expensive!! I've been a member fro a very long time so benefit from the reduced rates membership affords me. However I understand if you pay for a visit, both the adult and child pay for entry which I think is dreadful. Firstly, I have to say the staff here are often very cheerful and polite. I'm well recognised and often get a warm welcome which is probably the only reason we still go occasionally. In comparison to Namco, the next nearest soft play, you only pay £4.95 for a child's visit and I think that's excellent value. Namco is very clean and the equipment is new and interesting. At partyman world Braintree however it's long, long overdue a refurbishment. The fact the 'ball pit' has remained practically empty for the better part of 2 years at least, is just the start. Although when you ask various staff about the lack of balls for the ball pit, you get various responses from 'we're waiting from HQ to action our request for more', to 'oh the kids keep moving them' which I have to say is a total nonsense. Don't take you're under 2s here because there's absolutely never a time when the staff stop the much older children from running around in the under 4 section which just totally ruins it if you have a small one there. Recently they replaced the floor mats in the under 4 section but my word, they made such a hash of it. There's large sections where the floor isn't covered at all inbetween poorly fitted floor mats. Concrete is clearly visible on several places. The prices of water and other items are such a joke that even the staff get embarrassed at charging such ridiculous prices. So for us, we only simply go because my 2 like the big slide and football section and are lucky to still be paying a reduced membership rate. The staff are it's only other redeeming quality but simply because they're on the whole, friendly. There's no doubting the staff have lost a bit of love for the place considering it's filthy state and lack of investment.... So I don't blame...
