I recently popped into Baba Ganoush for a lunch with a friend, and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Tucked just outside the main city area, this charming little spot offers both sit-down and takeaway options.
The tables were clean and well-spaced. Even with the restaurant being busy, the ordering process was quick and seamless. The food menu was impressive – a great selection of healthy, customisable options, with something for every taste. The portion sizes were incredibly generous, especially for the price and the food itself was not only delicious but also packed with strong, vibrant flavours. It was filling yet incredibly wholesome, and I left feeling completely satisfied.
What stood out the most was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Both the server and the chef were welcoming and had such a positive, community-oriented spirit, which really made the experience special. The decor inside was just lovely, with a beautiful mix of elements, including artwork that perfectly matched the graffiti style of Bristol. It really added to the overall charm of the place.
All in all, Baba Ganoush delivers an outstanding meal in a cosy, inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone craving delicious, healthy Middle Eastern cuisine. I'll definitely...
Read moreThis is my favourite place to eat in Bristol. As a vegan I’ve eaten a LOT of falafel... it’s often the most available vegan food in Bristol, and also Berlin and parts of London. I reckon I’ve tried just about every falafel in this city, and Baba Ganoush is not only the best I’ve had in Bristol, but the best I’ve ever had! That isn’t even the highlight of restaurant! The owners are some of the kindest, warmest people I’ve met - they make me feel like family. They’ve been so important to our community in St. Paul’s and work so hard to make Baba Ganoush a safe and happy place to be. They’ve always gone way out of their way to make me feel valued - they are most certainly in it for the love and not for the money. It’s crazy how the yummiest food in Bristol is also cheapest place to eat!! £2.50 salad box is super generous, will fill me up and is packed with yummy fresh healthy veggies and sauces. It’s really nice inside with some absolutely beautiful furniture. I rarely write reviews but I have to...

Told them falafel was my favourite food and the chef started giving me free samples while I waited for my sandwich. Wow.
They really aren't kidding, this is the best falafel in town, maybe this side of the country. It really doesn't get fresher, more flavourful, or better textured than this (I've eaten at almost every falafel place in Bristol and every neighbouring town).
It was also really reasonable. Eating out in general is beyond the means of most but I could see myself grabbing one of their impossibly large falafel sandwiches 2-3 times a week, and still comfortably paying rent (and that sandwich lasted me 2 dinners).
Don't be put off by it not being in the city centre with the chains, take the plunge and wander down to St Pauls today, and grab yourself a falafel salad box, or a wrap, and bring your friends because this place has the vibes, the food, and the people that'll bring you right back to your best memories of...
