An important national collection that tells the story of the heydays of tile making in the UK. Based in the former Craven Dunnill factory buildings on the banks of the River Severn. Jackfield Tile Museum is one among many museums and attractions around Ironbridge that are based in important historical sites within this area of Shropshire which was so important during the industrial revolution and the development of manufacturing which led to British preeminence and wealth as the Worlds greatest manufacturer and exporter. Factory tours are available and a fascinating look into how the skills of old are combined with the latest technologies to reproduce tiling for the conservation and restoration of some of our most important buildings, maintaining our heritage for future generations. For anyone with an interest in architecture, interior design, industrial and social history the Jackfield Tile Museum is a priceless resource and...

At Blist's Hill you see wood being engraved, lessons being taught and posters being printed. Nice clean cafe with good coffee. A separate business across the courtyard appeared to be offering tile...
