This place feels a bit of a dumping ground. So much stuff is crammed in. There are some works by notable potters and artists but priced at stratopheric levels compared to other sources. You can't see the stuff properly. For example there is large Batterham teapot at the back of a glass cabinet for £3,800, at knee high level. Hard enough to sell at that price level let alone the fact it is crammed in and cannot be seen properly anyway. The same goes for all the other contents. No information about provenance to justify prices. Just small white labels from Office Supplies with the price scratched on in biro. It seems customers don't deserve much better. If they changed one floor to be a store and then rotated stock to be displayed in the way the items deserve (and customers deserve in view of price levels being expected) they would probably have four times the turnover. The staff always seem timid rabbits located behind the counter, more intetested in whether carrying your bag around could cause some damage. No one around where you feel you could confidently ask a question and get a detailed informed response. The whole set up has a hint of arrogance and contempt. Maybe it is actually just really storage for someone's personal...

Inga, a potter herself, will explain all the artists in great detail. It was a pure joy to be there and of all the great things to do in Cambridge, I am putting this shop first. The best jewelry I have seen anywhere, most beautiful ceramics, furniture,...
