I have to admit that I am not a fan of Weatherspoons and only dropped in here as another eatery was fully booked. My friend and I ordered breakfast - he a full English and I the full vege. It was 9am on a Saturday. This is the second time I’ve eaten at a Weatherspoons in my lifetime and on both occasions the Quorn sausages are somehow weird. I have no idea how they cook for damn things, but there you go. Apart from that the food was ok. I was starving and it filled a hole, as they say. The black coffee was bland. However the main saving grace was the price. Mine was an incredible £4.99!!! Kids even get to eat free. For those on a low budget, it’s great. I would definitely go back for a cheap nosh up. The service was efficient and the food didn’t take too long even though it was fairly busy. As for the type of atmosphere one expects in a cheap pub, well it’s a great place if you like people watching. I was really unimpressed by a family next to us who had brought their kid out with a cough that sounded like the plague, but apart from that, all good. Another thing I really liked was that there were size options with calories. Very helpful expect I still couldn’t help myself by double up the portion for...
Read moreFELT UNWELCOME AND DISCRIMINATED I recently visited the Wetherspoon at Bicester Village with a group of friends, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. I ordered food and drinks for the group, and when one of my friends couldn’t provide ID (we all are 25-30year old), we were told she couldn’t drink, if she drank we will be asked to leave, which we fully understood and respected. However, after taking a harmless photo with her drink (without consuming it), the staff member accused her of drinking it and abruptly took the drink away. Despite my offer to drink it myself, since I had paid for it, the staff member refused and cited a supposed warning that we didn’t even violate. And no refund for the drink too. Plus, we were banned from ordering food and drinks. It wasn’t the loss of the drink that bothered me, but the way the situation was handled. The staff’s behaviour felt discriminatory and unjustified, leaving us with a very negative impression of the establishment. The manager there was unhelpful. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve customer service...
Read moreThe managers here are absolutely disgusting. One of the managers specifically has been making up lies about me for over a year now and think that it's okay to be abusive towards me whenever I go in. I want in today (30/10/24) and was told that that manager has now barred me even though I have do nothing to necessitate it. I have always been polite to the staff and managers. I barely interact with them, I go in, find a seat and order on my phone. I went in today with my sister and 10 month old niece to get some lunch and have a catch up only to be told that the manager I've been having issues with has barred me and it's been in place for quite a while. I went in at the start of October and had zero issues, so how can I have been barred for a while when I was able to go in...
