This is a nice little park for taking a wander.
Situated just below Royal Terrace, so right opposite if you’re staying at the Voco (ex Crowne Plaza) with several entrances. London Road the other side, at the foot of the park.
Bear in mind this park is on a very steep hill so the paths can be extremely steep; not one for the old people or the unfit. Good for your cardio though. Heart health.
Seems to be some sort of sculpture trail, with wooden animals. They look a bit like mini totems. Park itself not too sculpted; plenty of trees and lots of greenery.
Restaurant in the corner looked decent, with outside dining. I would have eaten there had I more time.
Some of the paths are very secluded and isolated, despite size of park. I wouldn’t be so keen to walk through here in the dark. Anything could lurk - muggers, werewolves etc…
