Nobles Amusements - Portobello — Attraction in City of Edinburgh

Didn't even get the chance to look around. I brought a service user here to play, he loves games and machines and was very excited. We were looking for the toilet so he could go before we started and a blonde woman chased us down effectively, shaking her head and shouting.

Beratinly she declared they had no customer toilets and proceeded to direct us out to the rather disgusting toilets down the road (we couldn't use these in the end anyway). I wasn't allowed a word in edge ways and the experience seriously upset my service user - he became extremely upset and had an anxiety attack outside. I hurried him out as I could see the signs. He didn't want to go back as a result, else I would have returned to formally complain.

Effectively badly upset and ruined the day of a disabled man with the outrageous attitude problem and no provision of toilets, which I'm fairly sure is a requirement in establishments offering food? All before we could even look...

Bit of an odd arcade. The front area is full of kids arcade games and the old coin pusher machines where as the back wall is lined with 18+ old gambling machines with larger cash prizes. There's a little island in the middle for coins and a counter on the side to exchange tokens for prizes. Like most arcades you're looking at about 5 summers worth of tokens before you can claim any kind of decent prize. The back area has that smell of booze and smoke permenantly ingrained and there's usually someone hitting up a machine that you'd honestly not feel comfortable having in close proximity to your children. Any gamblers here?? Jumping on peoples machines is a big no no right when they have lost a lot of money?? Well this place lets you do just that!! Please remember he is already playing 3 machines from far away then putting in £1 and a card on it to hold the machine!! Absolutely shocking right!! Complained and all they said we will monitor it...to me that means they will do nothing about it!!! Set a rule so it stops people doing that?? I got told off for playing 4 machines which they let me do for years until someone complained, ok fair enough i wasn't playing the 4 and they asked me to come off 1 and which I did. I do not mind sticking to rules but it's unfair rules if they let people jump on machines or can't physically play machines together but yet...
