I’ve done a fair number of escape rooms and often had great experiences, but Immersion Escape Rooms stands out as the best yet! Meeting Phin, the gamemaster and owner, was a highlight—he’s welcoming, fun, and clearly passionate about creating incredible puzzles. My friends and I signed up for Detonate and were absolutely blown away! Phin mentioned he used to work in AV and is an escape room enthusiast, and his talent for combining these two skills shines through. The puzzles were perfectly crafted, and his in-character hints over a walkie-talkie added a layer of immersion I’ve never experienced anywhere else. Growing up in Alton, I loved the local touches woven into the puzzles—it made the experience even more special. The challenge level was spot-on: nothing felt too easy or too hard, with plenty of "aha!" moments and tasks to keep everyone engaged. Phin, you’ve created something truly exceptional! This was hands down the best escape room experience I’ve ever had. I’m already looking forward to returning in the summer or next Christmas to try out your other rooms. Keep up the amazing work!

So good we've done it 3 times! We visited immersive escapes a few weeks ago for a friend's birthday and completed the Echo room, expertly hosted by Dave. We loved it so much that after having something to eat we booked a second room on the same day, Detonate, and went back in, this time with the lovely Sophie. Knowing that there are currently only 3 rooms to do we very quickly booked in the third, Portal, which we completed yesterday with minimal help from our new host Finn. Immersion escape rooms is independently run, which means these rooms cannot be found anywhere else and it feels so much more personal. It is also why there are currently only 3 to choose from. There are other ideas waiting in the wings and the more people who do the existing 3, the sooner these new ones will become a reality. For me they cannot come quick enough. Excellent team, excellent puzzles and a genuinely fun experience for all!

Got a spare hour or so? Live in the little town of Alton or the surrounding area?? Get yourself and your crew down to Immersion Escape Rooms in Alton. We just barely made it out of "Detonate" alive, 1 minute and 30 seconds left. Phin and his son have set up something amazing in Alton with more planned for the future, their first room "Detonate" was fun, challenging and used history of Alton to really draw you into the theme of the room. 5 stars all the way. Looking forward to what comes next.

There is not one thing I can fault the team at Immersion with, everything about the experience is 10/10. Finn and the team are so welcoming, knowledgable and fun! As a team of escape room hosts we like a challenge and can be hard to impress- however Echo ticked every box. From the engaging host with storyline, to the effects in the room, to the variation of the puzzles, and even just the quality of set and props- this room has been carefully executed to a top standard. The room is hard, (we completed it with 2 seconds to spare), but with these rooms I feel it’s less about completing the mission and more about the experience along the way. It is a tad scary if you’re a bit jumpy! But that just made it all the more immersive and fun. However if you are a scaredy cat Portal is also a fantastic room that I could not fault. So if you’re thinking about playing their rooms just do it!! It truly is what it says on the...
